    you all know or should know they aren't going to rethink on this the changes they would have to make would require a wipe either way fixing all the rebalancing adding and removing features adding new ones to existing ships and even if they choose to remove ships that players own they would have to wipe to make sure all of those ships or items or rebalances properly worked with the server. so sadly either way on fixes the wipe is a must

    and stop crying like 4 year olds its quite unsightly u all agreed to the terms of service when u started this game u accepted terms and conditions upon purchasing astro/Netcash over the years u have nothing but urselves to blame for not reading those documents. so wise up stop crying

    :). so if Koei is here trying to help sway the community, here is the person to talk to.  Frozen has def weighed in on a lot of important convos, and picture tags all have the koei "rights reserved " on them.

    it is indeed a good thing, now the playing field and the experience the vets have accumulated will now help shape the new server we walk into. even if the vets don't stick around there will still be the many guides and information we have gathered that will be at the disposal of those that need it.

    I'm sure you meant to say ...guides and information that the vets wrote as a result of years of gameplay learning you will take and use. 

    At least, for some reason, that is what I am hearing:(

    Total hogwash.  The veterans will one day quit (or die) on their own volition.  Its not like the real world where the top 1% employ the bottom 99%.  In UWO there is no runaway escalation of class.  Resetting the server has only one purpose.. nostalgia, and so that Papaya can feel fresh and "special", till the day they go broke.

    I see that. Usually sites are required to identify ownership at the bottom. I could not find any identifying marks and that's the first I have seen that site. Those vids are clearly ones that have been made  by UWO players

    How were these player-made guides obtained by this site? Was there discussion and agreement reached?  I also went to several of that sites linked pages and could find no identifying marks for contact or otherwise. Please assist if u can

    whether they we discussed about or agreed upon since those players did not have copyright laws to the content of the guides they are free to be used by anyone

    They are out of Vancouver, WA and was founded in 2006 apparently :) Hope that helps you!
