If reset proves to be disastrous recipe for UWO...

I will defect to Taiwanese server while I will play other MMOs such as VCO, Runescape, Anno series, Angel's Online, Wafku, and Archeage. I might give some MMOs try as well.

    lol... Runescape is sounding better about now.  At least the storyline will be fresh... HA!

    Yep that's what I plan to. Anyway, Taiwanese server has GMO V that I will give it try later.

    I was wandering the JP servers of UWO before all this happened, it's pretty cool over there. Free players can't unlock as much there compared to international, but that's no problem.

    There is zero chance for you to create account for Japanese server unless you have Citizen ID.

    With this reset announced on GAMA, nobody can guarantee that the same will not happen to another free-to-play UWO server in the future.

    Yup we now have no confidence in the future of this game.

    Who is every going to invest money into something that could close down at any time?!

    Papaya has been fairly blunt and callas in it’s dealing with us so far and I don’t for one second think that they are not capable of doing just the same as OGP and drop kicking us the second it turns bad....and with no warning.

    Whatever happens with the future UWO, I hope one will be able to recover the game on a private server if it ends one day. Maby one of you is capable of? The problem is, how to get the rights and software (sourcecode). 

    I remember beeïng in this scenario with Flyff (Fly for fun) There are plenty of private servers out there still today but so far none of UWO was found.

    If one day Papaya considers to quit, lets hope at least they provide those rights to someone. Or should we knock the doors from KOEI therefor?

    @FlorianGeyer as long as KOEI owns the rights to the game no one here will be able to host on a private server without their consent, and as long as the other 4 servers thrive they don't need GAMA server.

    If Papaya doesnt give decent items/ships.. I will just stick to WOWs...
