Look on the bright side, this will be a better game.. Think of it as UWO 2.0

Who knows? Maybe they will even upgrade the graphics. Deck battle and pvp to be fixed, piracy will have some incentive, and we all get a fresh start. I'm hoping for the best, and I'm pretty excited to rocket far ahead of most of you, and and then be waiting for you to show up in my pirate ship :)

    Until Noei actually fixes the blue name for a successful defense against a pirate, who cares. Just get back to having a bunch of tributes and nullify anything you have outside lawless waters.

    Right JS... maybe they should charge us all $25 to log in on day one if we change our name.  If I recall, I had enough astros left in my account at OGP to buy a name change already.

    looks at jap server using same 2006 engine... nah i doubt that.

    without improved excalibur AoL or fancy 100 def boots and gloves and sailing heavygalleys at best... i doubt that too

    they either sell you their shinny new but exactly same ship you already had, which makes  the whole statement against nc ships moot, or you will be trying to catch prey without high level rowing or fusion or EA in a heavy caravel or a galliot or something

    @rangerzfan I really hope they do fix this because turning blue because you defend yourself is really not favorable. Even people that plan to bounty hunt or pirate know that you need certain skills and balance before doing so and being thrust into it because a pirate or privateer allows you to win, that is really actually bad form. It's been done to many of us including me and my dad.
