7 years down the drain. 7k + usd  gone  just like that.  what happened  data lost?  seriously i have difficult time believeing that. sounds like poor excuse.  frozen ruby  are you behind this?  i wonder  so many theories abound now.  but for what its wort   why should i restart?  gimme reasons   no  founders rewards  can reclaim all the time and money i put into this game.   and for you to so nonchalalntly say oh well to majority of the gamers here you do not represent is abhorrent

    Im telling you you need to call Vertigo Games or email them they are not doing th wipe god damn it we can stop them. Something has to be done I had a nightmare last nght because of the demise of UWO I can't take it anymore all the sob stories we need to do something instead of complain. If they won't tell us anything in forum we need to contact the company today. I'm hoping they haven't done the wipe yet but will real soon if we don't find a way to talk to these people.

    I agree. As we've been ignored in the forums so far, we ought to take our grievances to the company directly. That's even the advice KOEI gave on being contacted, though they also noted our concerns would be forwarded to the appropriate departments. If this game and all the time/energy/money we invested in it mattered so much, surely we can take a few minutes to send some emails to express our concerns and grief to people who actually have the power to try and make things right, can't we?

    Sad day.  I am sorry for you truly.  I wish OGP had given more time for companies to bid.  All i can say.

    I haven't posted yet just been reading every day but now that the server wipe is official I just wanted to tell all my company members and friends, I have enjoyed the last 7 years in playing this game and will miss all but no restart for me.

    What Data Will Be Transferred To Papaya Play Through The Transfer Service?

    Unfortunately, your character progress and inventory will not be moved as part of the Transfer Service. The Transfer Service will designate your account as a ‘Founder’ Uncharted Waters account, which will entitle you to Founders Rewards and other special perks following the relaunch on Papaya Play.

    Who says they are wiping?

    If they wipe, they will lose 90% of ALL players who spent money on UWO, which is most of the entire population.  No one wants to start from scratch, that is just insanity.

    If they want to throw UWO away completely, a wipe will achieve that.  I doubt you'll get many new players giving you $.

    The established player base is where the $ is, and to keep us, you MUST NOT WIPE.  It's that simple.

      ships? Our Gear? Do you realize that is 100% going to kill the
      established player base, the same player base which has been putting $
      money $ into this game for YEARS.

      DO NOT WIPE US, unless you want to lose ALL of your paying
      customers. This is 100% going to result in the game dying. I have
      been playing for more than 6 years, I am older, I have money, but I will
      not play if my world is wiped. My world includes my ships! special
      ships which are as unique and loved as much as our characters!

      It's really that simple.

    Has it been that long i remember you obama name smiles well clem i didnt even get founders rewards from them as of now so yup rip uwo i think we started one of the origanal companies there and get nothing for trying to make the game pleasant for newbies they should pay us for retention pf players
