    remember everything back to default setup, that would mean repeatable sinking is possible

    Sad but true.  It is sad that a game with over 400 ships gives one option, a Turtle ship... to avoid deck battle.  Adventure in your turtle.  Trade in your turtle.  Fight in your turtle.  Die of boredom in your turtle.. while others play the real game.

    Not necessarily wasn't there a future patch where turtles get nerfed by lowering chance of success of melee to 70% or something like that. If so that will fix the ninja turtle problem lol.

    That was on the Chinese server CPC. In anycase, we dont know how much of the item plunder will be restored or how deck battle will work this time. We may not even get astros/NC ships to work with!

    I doubt turtle ships will become popular choice for players who hates battle or piracy because it has rather poor piss armour. Unless you get astro ships like IATS then those could be big demand for non-battle players.

    @GreetjeRijk

    we don't know if they will roll back all the pirating nerfs or just adjust items and content and rules on how piracy should work.  at the moment we can assume that the piracy nerfs are currently staying in place
