faffnir i am just wondering why you are so determined to piss off as many people as you can? what is your end game? are you going to be a GM? what do you get out of pushing folks away? you think it will make you more powerful in a weakened server? please tell me what you get from this. cause from everything i have seen you will be responsible for pushing alot of people away

u want to know what i get out of it. i get all your hate and frustration you now have someone to focus on and be angry someone tangible someone u can attack without getting in trouble a verbal punching bag, have you noticed how few posts are now about what papaya and OGP did, have ya noticed its more about how everyone is pissed at me rather then the game hosts. so i'd say i'm pretty happy that the major drama has died down.

this is my official standing, if u look back on my posts u will notice my comments are directed at the topic of the thread there posted on. if u had a don't wipe the server thread probably would of been on ur side, and u think i'm not pissed about loosing everything i am i know exactly how u all feel but i'm not going to let it run my emotions, i simply put it aside and vented on a different game. took my frustration and anger and disgust, and put all that negative emotions into something creative.

now as for all the emotions that have been floating around these forums. have you noticed how much of it has died down. not everyone is voicing it anymore, they have either 1. come to terms with it, 2. have found something better vent on (probably me), or 3. are leaving the game if the compensation package isn't good enough for their standard.

so to reiterate i get nothing out of pissing everyone off then to reduce the negative emotions running rampant on the forums.

You know you say you get nothing out of it. Well my give a damn button is broken. You want everyone pissed at you to get attention and nothing else. You support everything from a wipe to making pirates more powerful and the reason they should be able to steal peoples items in inventory and that all people in the game should accept being forced into PVP even if they don;t want to do PVP. The game is not a PVP game it is a community and it is like having a life develop in the game. But hey us non PVP players got to accept being forced into it by people who thinks we are in UWO and they are the ones who decide how everyone else should fit into their twisted way of thinking

You are complaining about being forced into pvp, well if you don't like it.. Youre playing the wrong game. Like it or not, there are pirates in the game..

If you can't handle being attacked, then buy blue flags. I swear, some of you are the whiniest little noobs ever. Can't wait to take all of your crap and dump it in the ocean.

You all remember one thing you have to find the ones you want to attack and their is many ways to get somewhere and not be found but you all forget one thing. With this reset it will take a while for people to do spice runs or nanban runs so while you are all sailing around good luck being bored waiting for that time

frozen ruby i appreciate the response. however i think it may lead to more angst in a way just my opinion... i think they could have put back the piracy rules without a wipe.. i fully support re-starting piracy and pvp . there is alot of pain and anger about this wipe. i myself am trying to make a decision on whether i will return or not. i dont think the founders package will even come close to replacing what i my son and our friends have lost. and i am not sure even that enough players will return to keep gama alive.

i wonder though about the re-instatement of piracy rules are they gonna allow players to be farmed? be repeatedly attacked like it was in pre- ogp times? that alone will lead to a mass exodus.. none should be able to repeatedly attack another player in a weakened state. pirates or bounty included. griefers ruined the game for many players back then. hope that part does not return.

i also hope that forging tools will not be brought back. that lead to serious imbalance. it was a mistake on netmarble part.

in the end though there is alot of anxiety about this. alot of anger. feels like we have been robbed.

why should we have to re-start?

how is papaya planning to keep server alive in a weakened state?

do they really expect players who have spent years developing their character and thousands of dollars just to return as if nothing is wrong?

maybe it will have deflation of currency as hoped. that will be a good thing.

pirates will be happy that will be good, but for how long. honestly it will be months before anyone really is able to start piracy in effect. when everyone is going through schools getting port permits devoping skills again. the thought of rebuilding ports - regrinding sb- company colony- new content months until anyone gets close to that.

fs parts in founders package? seems like a shot in the dark at appeasement. b/c it will also be a long time before the first ships get modded on new server.

sorry to rant but my frustration is through the roof. and not sure if i have reason to continue

this is what i find funny, even since beta there have been pirates. i'm sure prolly around 2nd, 3rd day server was open someone got attacked around stockholm cause that was hostile. the first time i got hit towrads the end of beta was around stockholm. i 1shot that pirate on the nose. 2nd time i got pirated was by killadub :D so pirates will always find peeps to hit. As u see on that poll 20% or less are leaving, so that's not bad. plus people who play other papaya play games will see this game now from them, and will try it out. It's up to us to make a nice community on the 18th so any new peeps feel welcome. So if ur happy and staying fine, but if ur leaving or complaining why stay around and check a forum for a game ur not going to play :D
