You saved our game from disappearing for more than just a few weeks, and I trust the game will be better with new tweaks and updates.

The wipe had to be done it seems, but the rewards are fairly decent for a tier 4 veteran like me. Can't wait to start anew on your server..

    This is a new game guys, you may have played a similar version.. However, I have faith this one will be more fair and balanced. I don't think a G6 nocturnal paneled Refitted Ottoman Galleass will cost 200b for a good mod.

    Sorry pal but you seem to think that pirates are some type of hackers that don’t belong in the game and have someone found a way to infiltrate the game and spoil it for everyone.
    It’s part of the game.

    Just like you don’t play call of duty and complain if someone shoots at you.

    Just like you a pirate will have an alt that trades and also fall victim to pirate attacks.

    If you truly believe there should be no pirates then your beef is with KOEI not us.

    I’m not here to try to belittle you or argue.

    But to play this game is to accept pirates are a big part of it.

    Build rapport with the pirates rather than hate on them...and they may give you your stuff back :)

    hello all-  i was here when griefers reigned supreme. when they camped ports and people had to wait for hours   i dont care about that.. i care about the way they exploited the game mechanics then  and if they will be able to do it again.
    remember the sylphid episode?

    But as stated they are looking for a balance not a complete takeover.

    I presume no traders complained when pirates got nerf’d and it spoiled the game for anyone that had put all those hours/weeks/months/years getting to a high pirate level just for the class to be all but removed.

    Let’s think balance. No one class is more important than the next.

    Crazy the lv of saltyness in here  on the forms the wipe was needed .ogp messed the game up to much with a lot of the un needed nerfs.That and how bad our player  market rates where.
    Because ogp let people sail with alts that messed up the market so bad that if u didnt do the same good luck on every getting any good ship .

    I hope they undo pirate nerfs , nerf imp hold 100% is stupid.Back to 80% so lower. take out blue flags    unnerf nanban and make it like it use to be way back in the day where u can only sail with your main and no alts.  that in its self whould help that game a lot

    Yes! we should thanks Papaya for saving us for total wipe out, now at least we can continue play the game even they reset the server.

    lol +1 trader.  Lets see the months of finesse grinding i did during netmarble and ogp got wiped from server. See that's why most of us pirates are ok with the wipe.  It's cause we were basically wiped from server anyway. I prided myself in my landbattle skills.  And to have those basically removed or made useless, HA i would have rather regrinded all those refined melee skills, SB, refined rowing and steering all over again, than get all that finesse.  But all traders were ok with that why. Cause they didn't lose those hours of grinding.  Maybe if we were shown more compassion back then, we mite show some now. But me :D  I LOVE IT!  As clem has said, This is excatly what i wanted :D  And no it's not on my to rebuild the game.  It's on everyone including you.  But posting negative comments is NOT helping.  You will NOT get your old char file back. So, and i'm loving this

    some players like pierat will seek balance  some will seek to ruin game for others.   this is what i am trying to get at. as i have stated many time  piracy is needed   risk is needed  but the balance  wasnt before  the scales  were tipped to pirates before   then to everyone other   where is the middle ground?
    @killa   what do you think is the perfect balance that gets you what you want  and lets others  still have fun too?
    @pie  same question   how should they roll back?
    as we have talked before  i think   improved hold should be reduced % wise to maybe 50%  ?  thoughts?
    item plunder returned - with the exception of cash shop or memorial items that cannot be gained again- and pillage orders only 1 time per battle.
    no players repeatedly attacked as it was in nm days.  instead of 24 hour period before you can attack that same player again  3-5 hours.

    So say Killa and pie answer those question Clem...what then?

    What if they give you an answer that’s satisfies you, but then the likelihood is, papaya won’t go that route!

    It’s almost as if some on here try to be the spokesperson for what will actually happen on the game.

    None of us control the outcome, we need to wait and see what happens.

    i have enough respect for pie and killa just to see their opinions.  whether i agree or disagree. 
    the only way to progress an arguement is for both sides to have their say  and try to come to mutual agreement.

    I liked the original design. I'm here because I liked the original games on NIntendo.

    Also, I used to have to rent the game cartridge for SNES.. Everytime someone else would rent it and delete my data, it would destroy days or even weeks of progress. I would be upset, but I loved the game so much that I would just start all over whenever necessary.

    IIRC All SNES games were $50 - $80 unless you could find them used. Anyway, I was lucky to get $2 to rent the game once in awhile.

    I also used to rented the SNES games long ago when i was kid BUT im rented them enough time for finish the game, since is pointless play a game if you keep restarting each time.
