UWO on Steam - Did you play through your Steam account?

General Discussion
How many more players are there like me who played UWO through their Steam accounts?

Are we a silent minority who will be overlooked in this game reset?

I have messaged Papaya about it - if they respond I'll pass the information on.

There's nothing on Steam about the transfer - they still have the old OGP links.

HELP - I'm looking for some safety in numbers!

    I am a Steam Player as well and currently waiting on a ticket, but will pass any information I find out as well. I am hoping for the best that PP will help us merge our accounts or at least give us the Founders Rewards through our PP accounts, since they still have our character database, they know our levels, etc.

    I found this link within the forums - it was sent by a Papaya Play Moderator before the game was even shut down, but they seemed to address us Steam Players though, which gives me hope.

    That sounds more hopeful - economics will prevail! They can't afford to lose too many potential players.

    I've done some research into Papaya Play. Formed in 2016 by their parent company Vertigo Games, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. They are a game developer. PP was their publishing platform for their own games. According to their web site their big successes were games produced 10 years ago.

    But recently Vertigo have taken on other games all with partnerships through Steam. So hopefully this means they have preexisting tie-ins with Steam.

    Before you do anything I'm wondering if this is a scam. Because you're giving a load of account details onto a google doc.

    Steam (and Facebook) Account Migration LINK! - Answer from Papaya GM!
    Hello, 
    after submitting 2 tickets, a GM from Papaya answered me, explaining how to migrate Steam (and Facebook) accounts. In the mail I received there's a link to a form you must fill as completely as possible in order to help to "facilitate" the transfer. Questions are about your Steam ID + mail (same for Facebook), your Papaya account, and something more specific about your toon (name, date of creation, nation, levels, items and ships you owned at the moment of the shutdown). Dunno if you must submit more than once if you have more toons. 
    Anyway, I just submitted all the info. Now it will be processed, they will investigate my Steam account transfer issue and, as stated in the mail, they will answer IF (I hope) and when migration is complete.

    Steam user also but when I first installed, wasn't allow to use ogp id so create a new, I used this one to link the transfer, is this not how everyone is doing it?

    I played through steam, and it accepted my transfer credentials.  I may have registered the account on OGP's website, because I remember getting "This is a steam only account" when I tried to log in.

    Hi folks!
    I managed to transfer from Steam to Papaya.
    I had a slight memory of the first time I would log in to UWO from Steam. I remember that I was invited to create an account on OGP. This was not a long time ago and I still remember Username and Password.
    I tested on Papaya and it went well. Try it if you remember Username and Password!

    @Lefox271 this i not a dutch company but a korean one with the same name.. Even the logo's look similar but they are a bit different...
