What grinds are you gonna love/ hate?

I hated sewing from about R2 onwards. And I really hated it after about R10.
I gave up on most trade skills - they moved so slowly even at low levels - so I made space for more useful skills.
I really enjoyed fishing, and I know some of the best spots for catching Tuna. Along with fishing, storage was okay - the later levels went really fast once I got a ship with a galley. And along with that cooking was one of my first maxxed skills. In my first company I was the food supplier. I could do 2k tuna steaks in in 1 hour 30.
I also enjoyed crafting. It has so many applications - so there's lots of variety in grinding it, and lots of useful products.
I never got into grinding battle skills.
ADV skills I never worked on 'til I did the Gran Atlas. That was fun at first - but a trial towards the end because it's so samey. But getting 5k for some of the pacific seas was motivating.
I was just starting to work on Nanban when the servers closed. I'd got two thirds of the way to open all the Korean towns by making 2-handed swords on the mainland. I was looking forward to the challenge of Nanban.

Adventure XP is the most easy since your essentialy able to max it out just doing trading. however i found the quests to be more exciting then your normal MMO questing and you get to learn something at the same time. The adventure skills took up alot of space so i only ever had 1 toon specilize in them to get access to some of the more rare quest rewards!
Martime and landbattle grind is my least favorite, grinding your cannon to max takes alot of time but once you do you can sink anyone not using good plate in a few shots. The reward is definatly worth the effort. Getting attacked by pirates and after having shot them one time they realize the mistake they made and quickly start to flee... priceless!
I guess that means i love them all^^ well maybe not landbattle *ugh yawn*
My main toon had no adventure skills, i was strictkly talking about XP and you can max out your adventure level just sailing around, after a few months doing spice runs you will max adventure without ever doing any adv skill grind. At the time i played before they destroyed the game with cash shop items the cap was 65.
