    Lemme Label It Like This

1-Enjoyable Grind : Most of the maritime skills except Arms , I Liked Casting/Crafting too , Before the wipe with 5 days i got the SB skill , i can say i liked grinding that skill to r7 , I Enjoyed grinding melee , swordplay and unlocking the 3 techs of any weapon i can get my hands on especially in the newfoundland cuz i was getting 101 adv. and 101 battle exp per NPC .

2-Boring Grind : Skills Like : Search/Collection/Proc. , So i was mainly ranking up those skills when am afk , Storage was boring but fast to rank up

3-Annoying Grind : Oxford Skills cuz i will have to go london every 3 damn thesis to get new and wasting a considerable amount of time on finishing oxford researches until i get to 3 star skills , Most of the Trading Skills were a pain to rank up to high levels and ofcourse Managment & Arms

I like collecting/ procurement/ search - I never did a grind on them, just used them for other things (especially ores) and they rank up without you noticing.

Search - I never found a good way of ranking that. Never got beyond R6. You keep running up against inventory size.

Yeah oxford is a grind, but I'm going to build a college at my colony this time. Faster completion of courses and you get to turn them in and get new courses at your colony.
May the winds blow you well

Love - Casting/Cooking/Handicraft/Sewing was fairly easy to level

Hate - Shipbuilding/Alchemy - pain in the *rse to grind.

I was refined and max in Love category (lol sounds like Mr Mr Lover man) and max 7N SB & Adept in the hate category

Going to skip Alchemy I think this time around, getting the Nanban book killed me, didn't have much time to use it either :-(
    Ah well.

If winning is not important...then why keep score?

I generally enjoy grinding most skills, Handi is prob my favorite.  There are only 2 skills that I'm absolutely dreading, #1 is SB and it's not even close.  I don't think there is even another skill that can remotely compare.  Expensive, slow and boring.  #2 is Alchemy.  Expensive and slow and complex.

Handi is my favourite too. It has lots of useful recipes and some good money making ones. I never knew about the refining, so I'm gonna do it this time.

All jobs including Grand Admiral, Filibuster, Great Adventurer, Ranger, Millionaire,Master Alchemist, except Scout and Salvager. (required a lot of leveling and deleting of skills)  I just started working on Scout when the game closed.
After the change I was going to change to Astronomer and Ship wrecks; the only two areas of the game that I did not do.

These are Scurvy's raw numbers,  WITHOUT College and eq

Nice. Must of taken a long time.
I was around 5 weeks in so maxed a few but was looking forward to gaining more skills.

I had some great plans i was ready to move on to.

Hope I can keep the same enthusiasm.

My own fault..but i didn’t actually take much time to enjoy the game. I was focused on building a good foundation first and then would move on the the fun.

I’d just gotten where I wanted to be at the wipe haha

I'm dreading the time and money involved to get back to r20 shipbuilding.

I enjoyed cooking. It seemed to be easy, fast and saved ducats while making more by selling the excess.

I wasn't enjoying the maritime skill grinds, but that was more because there are so many of them. I probably should have added SB so I could rank that while doing all the other ranks. The other merchant and adventure skills mostly had to wait because I still needed a few more of the maritime ones.
