A cruise light clipper I've got as a gift from my friend. I got it as 2/5 with ea + spanish military panel(?) with some additional sails. I made it 4/5 then I got my flc so it was passed onto my alt. I was never going to sell that ship.
My 4 ships I want back that I just got before the server shut down LLM (had that already) SNG, MLA, MGF.

Y Windjammer is nice but didn't use mine much,I got very comfortable in my Cruise High Clipper, was my end game ship. Not the biggest or faxtest in game but home for me and my motley crew.
I had kind of just taken for granted that all our data would be there when the transfer was complete. Had I know all of this would go down, I would have handled the final days on OGP differently and taken some screenshots!
I'm definitely going to miss my Windjammer. It wasn't a bottle ship, but I put a lot of planning into building it and was happy with what I made. Going back to a barca is definitely going to sting a little.
I, too, was relatively confident there wouldn't be a wipe, so I didn't take screenshots of my fleet, but they were largely the product of an indulgent whale's lifestyle. I will say this, though - every captain I had, at one time or another, sailed in Sydney II, my beloved Modified Frigate. Borr and several of my alts made their first trips to India in it, and she saw work constantly since, because she had such a good balance of crew, cargo, and guns.
I will miss Padparadscha, my wonderful FLC, which Calicaddy helped me modify into a ship that really spoiled me on speed. I will miss Jan Mayen, a CGF that made me grind my first aide relentlessly so he could use it.
But, I'm fairly certain that I will return, so I can stumble drunkenly into World chat and spout nonsense. How much time I spend might be dependent on the changes to balance. But ultimately, for me the game was about traveling around in sailboats. That part, I don't expect to change terribly much.
I forgot about the ESF ships. I had interesting ones modded pretty well.......oh well. No screenshots because I totally forgot about their existence, but it was a rearguard bombarda and an armed sha-chuan.
If I'm gonna build one again I'll probably still do sha-chuan but I'm not gonna be doing rearguard bombarda. It's got gunport issues even with 3x16 cannons. Nowadays with 18 cannons it's not really viable.
A couple more images.. row of bazaars!
It's gonna take a while to get that recipe again.....as well as festival costume sewing book. I need that for my Bata de Cola collection.
I'm all for paneling the ships, except for paneling festive paneled ships! Nothing hurts me more than seeing a wrong panel FLC. But that's just my opinion.
I was looking at a stacked turtle ship on uwotool earlier to maybe use it as an aide ship in battle. Assuming they suck in melee (I've never really called my aide in battle - poor Davide was mostly sailing a 60 crew salvage-modded large galleon.) maybe I thought it would give them a little advantage. Then I thought of a survey frigate with evade melee battle. Although that is not a 100% prevention, it would give them a good laugh when they run into it and see Evaded melee battle!. Then I remembered it wanted 73 adv. Davide was lvl57 adv with him always following me and always being in adv job. So That's a little bit of a stretch. Well, thinking that way, I'll probably never get aide battle lvl 55 as well, at least not anytime soon.
I forgot to take a screenshot of my aide ship. Now that it's gone I miss it. A large galleon, It was purely modded for salvaging and hauling shipwrecks. Not too long before the shutdown I finally got my 3rd LSS from shipwrecks, that was after 720 or so wrecks. It was needed for the last mod of the galleon, so I was happy I finally got it so I could complete the galleon. It was 5/5 but it still had +2 that could've been unlocked in colony. With EA/exploration ship refit/hauling assistance and high lookout, 350/500+ sails (I just bought 26/30 sails for it as well), and 600+ ships raised with it, I must say I really liked how it turned out to be. I am definitely rebuilding that one.
Believe it or not I had already read the guide and watched the video’s. So I have an overall idea of what is done.
But I’m still very clueless of how to decide which ship is worth spending money on and modding, which mods and the best ones to choose an so on.
I’m one of those that reading the explanation helps me to start a process, but I only really learn and understand once I’m doing it for myself, making errors and such then learning from them.
