Well i really don t understand this endless talk about pirates and the fear of some people from pirates.
And i think some pirates feel that they are some kind of super players and averyone are afraid of them
I don t have anything against piracy in this game, everyone is free to take whatever direction they like in the game, piracy, trading, adventure.
Each one has advantages and disadvantages, but this make the game more fun.
So my advice to traders and adventurers is to stop being afraid of pirates because there are alot of ways to deal with them if you want to.
And to ”some” pirates who think they are unbeatable and they allways win and everyone should fear them...THINK AGAIN.
Stop lying to your self...you know every one of you had his ass kicked more then once in the game, you know you lost more than one battle, and stop pretending that you are the best in this game.
If my words offended you feel free to add me on your hit list when the game begins. I don t care ;)
Snowflake my @ss! I learned that attitude from my CO, a 30 year vet who saw nothing, absolutely nothing, funny about war. Nothing to joke about, period.
Barring that natural expression of villainy which we all have, the man looked honest enough.
Wow, some has had the funny beat out of someone at some point @ogie :D and yes "snowflake" is the new politically correct term who people who get mad about little stuff :D
Your right war isn't funny, but life is. Best to just laugh at crap situation
@mamacat lolol u've known me a long time, you know i'm very helpful, but on the same side i'm am PieRat. Sorry but i'm forced to want and enjoy the plunder of others
@idsa never claimed to be best at anything besides i consider myself one of the best pirates. :D I was very very good at it. and yes i got beaten, i got beaten many many many times, until i got tired of it, and stayed in the dungeon til i emerged very efficient at deckbattle. Yes i wasn't very good at pvp, i never did much of it, infact even as old as my pierat char was, he still hadn't done the "challenge mission" to participate in an ESF. I wasn't one for staged battles, i was king at catching u when u were vulnerable and not expecting it.
Sorry but that's what i believe a pirate is. And that's the way i play :D
See that's where ur wrong. lol What i think is pc, is pc, what u think is pc is pc. What's wrong with the world now-a-days when they think they can control what someone else thinks feels lol. To me the term "snowflake" is 100% pin-point accurate. Therefore that's Politically Correct. Bet u dont even know why they are even termed "snowflake" and trust me it's not cause they all different lol
If you are only allowed 1 account then how are we suppose to transfer stuff? Especially since early development of characters have bad inventory and storage issues. Are we suppose to just trust strangers in the game to hold onto our billion dollar gear and/or ships while we boot up our other character?
I'm playing in a different world, Pie-Rat. I never unlocked EA, never traded spice or anything. I multi-boxed 8 'toons purely to get enough farms and shop slots to run a decent-sized chandlery company. It was hard work keeping track and planning production, sure, but I'm like that IRL. I think many players were glad to get reasonably-priced essential supplies to continue their own game-styles, including several pirates I believe. I can guess that they appreciated my efforts as I usually got help from other top-level players if I ever asked for it.
Anyone got a problem with that non-pirate game style?
"Papaya answered Noobs's ticket that they will use OGP's rule of 3toons/per IP."
This is confirmed? Papaya will allow 3 accounts per IP?
And while we're at it. Anybody else have info Papaya shared with them but couldn't (for whatever reason) share with the rest of us? We'd all be grateful. :)
That's a really interesting play style. It would be great if the game structure helped that kind of approach. I'd have a go at it 'cos it encourages you to make stuff and try new recipes. I was artificer so had all the crafting skills.
But when you can only put up 3 sale items in the shop there's not much point in being a shopkeeper.
