Bounty Hunters

With plunder returning all us pirates are super excited, the traders and adventures are MAD, but what of the hunters.  With reset to NM days, that would mean that the bounty pay-offs are back to normal, which means hunters can make really good paydays just by farming a couple pirates.  Some of ya'll may wanna think about going that route. Not only do you get the bounty payoff, and the items u plunder from the pirate, but lots of traders will pay u for the SS of u sinking a certain pirate who has attacked them.

So if ur thinking of finding a new niche to play ingame give being a bounty hunter a shot.  I know i won't be happy about being farmed by a hunter, but it would make piracy alot more entertaining if we had risks at sea as well.

I never really did PVP here even if a pirate hit me I gave them a trib and went about my way but a lot of times if they was not farming a port I took different routes then others to get back to Seville

Yea there are alot of ways to avoid being pirated.  It's not like u know where peeps are, the field of view is so small u can miss 100 players every minute and never even know they were in the same sea with you (which i think needs changed) yes if ur on private i can see it hiding ur names, but it should at least place a number on the search screen of how many players are there, of course should always show red/yellow/blue names no matter what, but at least give an idea of how active that sea is.  Simply sailng a little further out from land than normal is good way to pirate, or stay away from known pirate outspots (sakai was on place was always a pirate)  but those are the lazy ones.  Pirates like me could look at the in-game town nanban chart, and see what towns were good for trade at that moment, so u'd just position urself around those areas and look for traders or stay away from low trades, like for example if crafts were low in korea, u knew wasn't going to be alot of eyebeads coming, so no need to check those towns, but if crafts were good in quanzhou, u knew someone was coming for brush :D

Yes and it up to us to figure out where the pirates are but it is a game of chance cause a pirate could be coming out to port and you run right into them. I remember a few weeks back coming to port there was one leaving the town and I hit EA for a extra boost and prayed I made it. It was close he missed me by a second I was lucky

Not really interested in bounty hunting per se, just waiting for that day I sink KillaDub when he attacks me one time too many!
May the winds blow you well

KillaDub has a crazy way of thinking compared to some pirates I have had a chance to talk to

Heck i mite have to go bounty hunter just to help balance the seas :D  plundering from pirates will prolly be more profiting at start than pirating trading/adv toons.

Also lemme explain a concept prolly not widely known about plunder and alts.  If ur running say 5 toons, and i grab admiral in melee and goto deckbattle, and i kill all 5 of ur toons, i get to plunder each toon once :D

vs in OGP u had to melee and kill each one to get a plunder.
