Just some thoughts.

I'm fairly certain that my opinion is in the minority here, but I don't see this hard reset of the game as a 100% bad thing.  Sure, the players that have spent all this time and money on the game are furious that it's all going to waste, and rightly so.  You have every right to be angry.  In most cases, I would be too.

However, packing up and leaving in a huff over it is not the solution.  UWO needs you now more than ever to stabilize things.  If you want new players to come in, have a good time, and stay a while, abandoning the game in droves like this is self-defeating.

I prefer to see this as an opportunity.  When the game reopens, I'm going to do my best to recover what I lost, and lead a new generation of players into the unknown.  I'm no stranger to wiping my save file and starting games over... it just makes me more determined to do better the next time.

I hope that some of you will reconsider after some time off and join me.
