Positive suggestions for UWO going forward

So we've all seen the negative responses about the server wipe. The loss of $1000's spent in currency, our fabulous ships, items, equipment and massive stacks of cheques. That discussion has been hashed and rehashed and pervades every discussion on the forum. Enough of that. No more of that in this discussion please and no more complaints or trolling either.
How about we try to do something positive for the game we love or at least loved at one point, like make some suggestions to improve future gameplay for the sake of the community, old and new players alike here?
I realize that PapayaPlay may not listen to all our suggestions here but surely they will read it and at least take some of these suggestions to heart and maybe implement those into the game in the future for the sake of the community and the betterment of the game as a whole.
All this being said, let's get to the heart of the discussion at hand, suggestions:

1. I have already mentioned this in one discussion previously but am going to rehash it and even modify it slightly because it is a suggestion for improved gameplay; skill slots. People in reality are generally capable of doing 1000's of things so skill slots should either be increased to a minimum of 100 or just done away with completely and have all skills to start like other games and MMOs. In this way players can still choose what skills they wish to grind and those they do not which will be more beneficial for newer players. There will still be those traders and adventurers that don't wish to grind maritime or vice versa, but that is entirely up to them. However, I'm still all for the favor system implementation for full xp or non favor for 1/2 xp.

2. Before I mention this, know that I am fully aware of and understand the debate from both sides, but am keeping the newer players in mind when I mention it, and that is item plunder. The plunder of equipment items, cash shop items, rare plunder items, memorial album rewards, and 1 time quest rewards is unacceptable under any circumstances. Equipment like 100D boots and armors and 100ATT weapons are just simply too hard to replace to allow for item plunder. While us veterans may have an easier time replacing these, newer players would be set back for months or even years and would often quit after this occurred which was why it was nerfed in the first place.

3. In keeping with the debate on plunder I want to mention the farming of players. Again I am aware of the age old debate on both sides and while I do agree that the 24 hr period is a bit extreme so believe that they should maybe limit it to 1-2 hrs max. However there needs to be a limit to how often AND how many times a PP can attack a player (2-3x max). Repeated attacks against a player is nothing more than cyberbullying. While it may be fun for the PP, it is not enjoyable for the other player. Remember that players will not continue to play a game if it isn't fun for them. PPs may feel that it is encouragement for the other player to focus a little more on maritime but simply put it is encouragement more for them to quit. This game must have a constant influx of fresh blood for it to thrive and survive otherwise we will return to the days of only 1k players on 10k characters and empty seas all over again.

Ok enough of my suggestions. Time for someone else's input. Remember this discussion is for positive suggestions, not age old debates. If you wish to debate this and I don't have a problem with that but post it in another discussion please so that we may keep this discussion on topic. On that note, any more positive suggestions?
