How many times did the Japanese server get wiped?

HINT: "The answer is not as important as the question."
and 5 others. So Papayaplay want to wipe out all character progress and reset the port development, do they? Which means all that lovely endgame content in the industrial revolution patches will be mostly inaccessible until players get back to mid/high level again. Not to mention that all those Atlantis discoveries and attached MA rewards will be unobtainable also(the Atlantis content was time limited).......
Going back to the question in the topic, how much of the new content in the recent updates was intended to be explored by sub level 20 players? To get access to most of it requires EA permits + region charting. It should be fairly obvious that KOEI did not design the new content with a periodic erasure of character save data in mind. There would most certainly be ZERO point in doing adventure if all your progress gets wiped just because there was a change in server management.
Then there are the development ports, Ternate, Ambon, Lima and the Carib colonies. After leading the charge to get the port development finished in Ambon and Ternate, I'm not prepared to do it a second time around. Once was enough, thank you very much.
All in all I just don't appreciate having my refined skills blown out the window on a whim, They could double, or triple or even quintuple the founder pack rewards, but it would never be acceptable compensation for the loss of years of progress. This is a very poorly thought out decision if Papayaplay go ahead with it.
The arguments will continue, until the quality of your reasoning improves.

Dunno the Aegis and no clue about your personal feuds, but this kind of attitude does the game no good. It hasn't even relaunched and you're already chasing ppl away. More of this and Gama will close for good in less than 6 months.
In fact, a server reset likely means it'll be months, not only before development levels are reestablished to pre-wipe levels (if even that), but PVP balances are impossible to know due to the lack of levels/skills/ships, meaning players could become used to something, only to have it readjusted later on due to flaws in the system that become more apparent over time. Not to mention that by resetting things so completely, Papaya has effectively 'reset' the emotional and financial investment users have in the game, giving few of them any reason to continue doing so.
With the age of the game and its relatively niche appeal on the international scene, (and I sincerely love UWO, make no mistake), offending such a significant portion of its user base and alienating them on such a wide scale could prove fatal to UWO's future. It makes it even less palatable for users to continue to invest any more time or money into the game, compared to times past. Even if GAMA is a free server, that does not make this decision any less foolish; perhaps it makes it more so, due to how precarious its continued operation is.
So far, Papaya has acted without any apparent regard for our input or opinions, which reveals much of their character from the start. It's one thing to choose to begin a game over from scratch -- it's
another entirely for someone to make that choice for you, and to do so
without any consideration of your feelings on the matter. I see no future in any games that they run with such policies, no matter how wonderful the game, or how much its users may love it.
if so then nobody will get plundered, same as DB being on consent only
