SkyFree here, quitting the game as well

No idea how long it took me before I am allowed to make a post here, but I guess if that's the way how papaya is doing things, there is nothing but to accept it.

Thanks Jean_Dupleix for sheltering me when I was a new beginner. Plenty of help I received from all the veterans of UWOs, namely those who had stayed for several years. Advises, guidances, all stuffs, man there are really, really good players gathered by OGP in UWO. When you need help, there are always people there to give you a hand. And you can feel it that all these players, are mostly all veteran players who has stayed, and love the game a lot.

It is really nice to play together with players who like the same game together :)

EIP, Eila1550, Incantation, all the funny fellas lol :p ,  Ace/Barrack I am gonna miss your trolls who made my gaming interesting :p , all type of players, adventurer of EIP, nanbaner of Incantation, colony build of Eila, and countless of pro maritimers.

UWO is a massive knowledge online game, rather than a massive players online game. And because its database is so massive, each players a profession, takes a long of time to learn and manage.

Players like CadillaShrimpin or Gazi or Siera, these players are very knowledgeable in shipbuilding. Jean_Dupleix, a very relax French nation trader, he has helped a lot of traders to build on their ways. A lot of nanbaners has their own secrets of making trades if you get to know them. Adventurer very familiar of the quests of each kind of it. Maritimers, they have ways of how to do rare plunder and being a pirate.

To say this simple, Papaya don't understand what is UWO, I doubt I can enjoy anymore in the game even if I continue to play it. One word to say it simple, you can always, all the time, find very matured and helpful players in UWO. And only OGP can attracts this kind of gamers together in a game.

For me, from what I see, the ability to make money when you published the game, is depended on your own skill, how you set the game, and that if you failed, you cannot blame any other persons except yourself.

One, old veterans in the game, they didn't give up the game 10 years ago, they won't give up the game now either.
Second, you cannot depend on old players to help you generate your revenue. You must find ways to earn and to promote new players. Server wipe and expect the old players will re-spend? Lol, it won't work this way man,
Third, UWO is not "League of Legend" browser type game, that they can opened 50+ server keep splitting and re-merge, for new players to start enjoy grinding so "they won't lose to the old players".

Fourth, I think this is the blowing reason why Papaya don't understand UWO. UWO is a 10 years old game, it has its very strong reason why it still survive until now. It can't be managed the same way, with the same logic and the same style, like how they manage their advance, high graphic games.

That's why I mentioned my concern before the game is closed and regretfully I get my hunch correct. Papaya manage all advance game, do they know how to manage an old game? Both game don't share the same type of fun. They don't share the same structure at all.

There isn't necessary to read a mountain of words from me above, all can be understood in one single phrase from the below. This is realistic. Well hope it gives a 3 cents.

"There are so many profit-oriented game publisher out there, why do players want to play in UWO, an 10 years old game, lower graphic or battle intensive gameplay, if they want a pay-to-win?"

Correct?

Shrugged shoulder. Well, I have spent my time finding other games for like a week or two, UWO is already deleted both from my Steam and OGP's folder. There is no way I will return back once I decided to quit. I miss you all good players from all around the world mates, adios and all the best for you, may god bless all of you :)
