Max level for school

I remember there was a level in which you got booted from school for overleveling,anyone remember what that is?

    originally it was 30,but more recently it changed to 40

    with server reset we do not know if it will be 40 or if it will be reset to 30 again

    afaik only thing that was 50 was total lvls on pirating limit

    It's been over 6 years since I did any of the schools and my memory is a little rusty.  Does anyone remember what approximate level you finish at if you do all 3 (beg, inter, adv) schools of the same profession (ie. Adventure)?

    It was 40 for school chat and there was some kind exception above 40 based on how busy chat was. If there was a level you reached that booted you from school (not chat) I never heard about it...there were several high level players who still had the sprout on their flag.

    Thank you,do you mean for example if I am 20/20/30,and I lvl battle to 40 while in adventure school I will be kicked,or that will only happen if I lvl adv to 40?

    @ sleepykitty You can finish any of the schools at any time, eligibility for that never expires.  It is only access to School Chat that is withdrawn at level 40 of any profession.

    @ Laziali  If you only attend the schools when your character begins playing, then you will finish your schooling with approximately level 20 (perhaps a bit less) in all three professions.

    iirc,it is possible to finish schools at lvl 15 or so on each if you do schools alone without doing anything else

    I finished all of my schools except the advanced adventure with my main character, and I went back to finish that one after my trade level was over 50, and it said my level was too high to go to school. My other toon I took back to school when he was over level 40 in trade - I'm pretty sure about that, can't say 100% for certain, but I seem to remember taking him back to school around level 48 so it wouldn't be too late to finish.

    Hmm I remember someone maybe WSP said he couldn't finish school ,so school could give him a boot because his levels are way off too high.

    I know you will get kick out of school next day after you hit lv40. On the other hand, you will be safe as long as you're at 39/39/39 :). For some reasons, I think some players such as Borg, Jill, TestDummy, etc like to stay in school for long time.

    at lvl 40 you do not get booted from school,just school chat

    afaik you can still do the courses,just can't use the chat

    a Max level was introduced to deter players from farming school rewards, or from recruit-spamming in school chat.  I don't see a big deal with it.  If high-level players were to abuse school even after being warned.. wouldn't they have the most to lose from a ban?  The real threat to school is all of the alts that get created to hang out there.... some of which troll the new players,  some of which are only trying to farm a few items.... and as such are edging out true new players out of being on a single chat channel... since a lot of players in school will disperse them onto seperate school chat channels.  This is sad.
