Papaya play staff, would you do something for us?

With about a week to go until you relaunch the game how about giving us 1 tit-bit of information a day about how the game will change.

Just enough to whet our appetites and provoke some discussion.

UWO community can we do something for papaya, and stop sending in so many support tickets, so they can get around to actually launching the game, vs trying to respond to as many tickets as possible.  We surely don't wanna be the cause of the launch being delayed.  I know i'd be upset if i seen a post from Papaya that said:

Due to overflow of support tickets, which we are commited to answering, we will have to push the launch date back by 1 week, so that way we can respond to all ur tickets in a timely manner.......

I agree with you, no point in raising support tickets right now, there is no game to be supported. Even so, such an announcement would probably result in more support tickets.

they haven’t really given much away at all. A few blunt facts...server wipe, some changes (cryptic) and then the bit about transferring and the low quality rewards scheme.

I would of expected an update by now with specific details of what returning players and new players have to look forward to!

I doubt very much many that haven’t played this game before have been drawn to take a look.

At least if papaya did a bit of an advertisement on their website to drum up some excitement for the excisting papaya members it might bring in some fresh blood.

Well apparenlty they are responding to tickets cause of the people who said they copy and paste reponse, well still that takes time.  And everytime they have to hit "reply"  then  CTRL+V takes time away from getting the game ready and or making an announcement.  Also approving new members and new messages of forums.

Well, if they would give information then people would not be writing support tickets. It would take all of ten minutes to write a post detailing major changes, and 20 minutes to write the same post and include minor changes.
The fault lies 100% with Papaya Play.

The time spent copying and pasting replies could easily be avoided by keeping users involved in the behind-the-scenes activities, perhaps by appointing a representative or two to help keep the community informed, and generally being more transparent about things than they have been as yet. That would save them a lot of time, and ease the burden of support tickets being sent in. I know a lot of online games that have kept their users up to speed on future content/changes, either by way of social media or website hosted designer notes that are updated once or twice a week.

And don't forget that a lot of those tickets being sent in aren't just game-related; many people have complained elsewhere like on the UWO DB about being unable to post even general conversation topics, even after days of waiting. If this is representative of Papaya's abilities and wisdom in dealing with the community they claim to represent and 'put first', it does not bode well even for those players now shilling for them, let alone UWO as a whole.

I really am surprised by the silence, but I think they may have something up their sleeve... #16/20
