What was benefits of each nation? :D

I was not hard core player... I was just a player that know this game and playing in every once a month (and like that) . yesterday I said "hey...lets go to japan and make myself stressed by pirate danger... again :P" and noticed game wasnt on steam anymore and also even gonna have restart(wich is sry for you people but good for me since I gonna catch up... as you can expect :/)

So I thought this is perfect moment to have a little more serius play but I am unable to find any starting guides and since its been so long I dont rembember nation benefits a lot...

what nation is good at wich status can you remind? or share any guide about unique stuff nations have? :P I gonna start with a friend of mine so it would be amazing to have a good and potantially benefical start if we decide to have a long run
