Adventurers or Craftsman Share Info

Okay...so even if I won't be playing anymore, I still hope UWO succeeds so others can get as much as I did from the game. My reason has to do with doing Merchant work makes me yawn and I hate doing Maritime anything...the reset for adventuring is like graduating from real life school and when you get ready to go to college they say, sorry, back to kindergarten for you. The most fun was before they made adventure easy...the days when survey didn't do anything on land.

Why I'm making this post is because Papaya has only ever let 6 of my dozens of posts show up, so I have an old question, and a new one.

OLD: Share info with the craftsman I got to about 36k...but now I'll never reach the max. Did anyone reach the max in any area and what was it?

NEW: Adventuring was frustrating but always fun and educational, but a lot of the North America quests/maps were not that interesting. Once Frisco came out so many quests were just go through the motions without falling asleep. Probably because I already knew American stuff. So here's the question...for players from other continents....when you did quests/maps near to where you live, were they less interesting because you already knew about what you were discovering?

I really hope Papaya picks this one to show up cause the missing 20+ don't matter much.......this post I'd really like to know the answer(s.)

    San Francisco offended me greatly, since is was placed wrong on the coast of California, and you couldn't sail to Sacramento, (which was how it was done before the trains came). And I promise there are no cactus in the outskirts of San Francisco, and if you go too far north in SF, you run off the cliff into the bay. And Sam Brannan's house was in Sacramento. And John Sutter's "town" (the one he talks about in the unlock quest) is Sacramento!

    IDK about the craftsman max, I know Lugubrious was way up there, I really don't know if he'd even remember what he had at this point.

    As a native Northwesterner I was amazed at how wrong they got Tacoma and environs.  In town, you might as well be in N Tombstone, and right outside the gate you're in the Pacific NW rain forest.  It just doesn't work like that.

    Barring that natural expression of villainy which we all have, the man looked honest enough.

    @shelleyl

    They put cactus outside of San Fran?? Hahaha! I'm just outside of LA. You're right, that's way off.

    I had several thousand points for sharing info with the craftsman.
    I never found any decent use for any craftsman recipes, so I
    stopped doing it. Maybe memorial album items?
    It is like the Company special item permits. .. you might as well rename them silky stuff.
    You need several of them to make + sociability clothes.
