Roiber: "The head of Vertigo for North America is from OGP"

In visiting the UWO Database, I saw an interesting comment there from Roiber, who apparently isn't able to post in these forums currently. It reads:

Roiber said:
The head of Vertigo for North America is from OGP (transitioned in 2014) as is at least some of their staff. These guys go way back and run in the same circles if you dig into their profiles and work histories. I'm not too sure the game didn't just change addresses and the management style will be substantially the same from the top, if not some of the actual same staff running it day to day.

Can anyone confirm/disprove that? Roiber is a very well respected source/player, and if true, then I find it an interesting topic given how everyone has been quick to blame OGP for poor handling of UWO, but are then just as quick to say Papaya will be different from OGP. (They are, actually: so far, their handling of things at the start has been worse than OGP's was!)

Oh, I stumbled upon one site that has OGP reviews.

Apparently, higher ups are clueless how to manage, made bad decisions, and zero communication skills.

I felt bad for one who moved to Vancouver ,buts/he literally lost the job within merely one month After OGP lost several best games because they lost contract for those games just like they did with UWO.

Unfortunately, OGP has most negative reviews ,but it ended up perished along with boss who's probably responsibility for founder of OGP.

We will see how the new team runs the show. I am fine with giving them a chance to prove they are different, but it sure has started off on the wrong foot, or nub of the proverbial foot since they cut the legs out from under us.

So did OGP deny the data/char transfer as a way to  punch back at koei for revoking their contract?

lol those link reviews, thats exactly how most korean companies are managed.  So then what killed ogp was a crash of culture within the management. Since the business are not handled that way on this side of the swamp.
