Staying on

General Discussion
After some thought and a self imposed reflection period, I have decided to stay playing uwo.  There really isn't another game like it (I am r20 afk sometimes!), and I truly do love to sail.  Hopefully more will come back after they can come to acceptance of our late characters and their demise.  I have started from scratch many times and could do port permits and acquiring skills with my eyes closed. :) See you on the seas, and feel free to message me with any in-game questions.

    Thanks a lot for staying back. It was a hard decision for all of us, but the sacrifice is necessary for having the chance to see the game run fair for everyone. As bad as it is to see our characters gone, I'm willing to do it if it means securing a future for a better UWO where everyone is on the same playing field.

    I'ts a new start for every one. It might be really enjoying to start over and see how fun it was to go back to the struggling times.

    Myself enjoy ranking up and sailing from all kinds of places to achieve everything over again.

    Now we need to get Batt and Wendy to play again after all I have strong suspect that they will crawl back to play UWO because none of MMOs are similar to UWO. 

    Voyage Century is the close thing to UWO ,but it's somewhat mix of UWO and Runescape. However, it's reached at peak ,so there is nothing left to play while most players are focus on siege battle, crafting, an Golden Tower. On top of that, new players will start with lv10 ships O_o.

    Been playing on and off for years. Have started over a dozen times.
    This is not even hard for me. 
    I like starting over and beginning from zero.
    Glad you are staying to mamacat.

    I am returning myself my trade toon was 48/68/32. I will miss my trade ships and my Mis on my main but such things can be
    Acquired again. UWO is truly unique. If people come back I think it can be even better then with OGPlanet running it. Glad to see ppl returning
