Kim and I apologize for not being able to contact you, this
forum is screwy and didn’t allow us to do anything. We were away for a while, taking a break from
UWO, and we came back to this.
Kim and I both agree that this is a sign, that it is time
for us to leave this game. We were
shocked by the server wipe, and honestly, were not angry, but
disappointed. We can no longer “enjoy”
the game because we need to regrind a lot of things in order to truly “enjoy”
the game. We are at a stage of life that
we cannot devote such time commitment.
We may transfer the account and just to pop in to say hi to folk, but we
probably won’t be playing.
With that said, to all the folk who had been in the company,
I bid you goodbye. And especially those
who were particularly active the last couple of years. I encourage you to start again, and carry on
the tradition, then I have a place to come to at least to say hi. (We can actually be a pawn for your company
for contributions).

I do know that I will not be spending any $, so r20 SB will be years away waiting for the last +1 SB items to be plundered. At least the wipe got rid of the 200 Justacotes for trib i had tucked away!

I’m not sure I’ll be playing, because I just don’t have the
patience to go through that all over again.
Rosalie was 81/84/80+ (I finally beat you on adventure level!!!),
Josianna was 71/79/85. On the same
account, that took a long time to plan and play. It’s a good thing I didn’t spend any more
money after I got to OGP, but I did spend a ton in NM that lasted through OGP
days. Wiping all of my things means that
I have to do Nanban runs. While Ian is
into that kind of stuff, I just like to sail around adventuring and pirating
(and giving return things to) the traders.
I can’t do that anymore, so it’s no longer fun. I don’t like the grinding, but I did it
because in order to enjoy the game, I had to grind.
Not only did I lose my character, I also had my captain’s
log that I reallllllly worked hard at. I
wonder if I can get that back on the archives, but I don’t see it L
Besides, you left me to play here by myself. :P
To ITC members,
Ian will probably make a character or two to pop on. Maybe I’ll do the same to say hi. Good luck to all of you.

Once you get it set up, I’ll log on and give you my rewards
