I dont know about you guys but I sure miss my ships, for some reason the night before Armageddon I took some screen shots of them, glad In did, cause they are digital dust now, wiped away like they never existed, the only thing that remains is the countless hours I spent nanbanning to get my CCC, that Caddy made for me. Im trying to explain to the GMs that some compensation for the countless hours put into, and the destruction of countless hours and years for some people should be at least compensated with some ships, along with the rest of that junk they are giving as founders awards. I dont know about you but Im heartbroken over this, I really am. I think as we level we should get different awarded premium ships to sail, ofcourse there wont be one ship builder on the server to mod them, but I think some ships might get me back into the game. If not, Ill be damned after all the money I spent at OGP, now having to spend more for a new host that wiped our accounts only to give them our money to rebuild. Tell me what you think

    I had a G6 CHC and it now sits at the bottom of the virtual pixel sea that was OGP. Yet, I look foraward to the restart. Mostly because now we are all at the same starting line. When I returned last time, I had 0 seas charted while some had almost all seas finished. Not that that is anyone elses fault but my own. I am just glad to be here sailing still. Mind you a beginner barca is no G6 CHC.

    played 7+ years  some less than 1 year players whining about not catching up  uneven playing field   boo hoo   sorry you didnt find the game until late  but we all went through the same things .  for most  server wipe and reset all our hard work   many more will not play  than you think.  if you really think it is best thing for wipe   you are in for sad surprise in a few hours

    They will only add ships for purchase, not for free. They intended to reset to game for more profit, So don't think they'll give away ships in the beginning.

    There's plenty of ships at the shipyard. The money ppl spent at OGP is irrelevant, OGP was crap and catered to inflated egos, i hope they don't come back to Papaya.

    the cash shop/ lottery ships will return make no mistake.. papaya play has to make money.   and i am not about to waste ssip on junk shipyard ships

    I personally hope they don't put astro/nc ships into the game for a couple months. 

    A LOT of people here were spoiled by coming into the game later and having high lvl kickbutt ships unlocked everywhere and don't know the struggle. 

    Ever had to boat to India, without the Suez Canal, with no speed boosts, in a stock TLG leading your fleet? Yeah, 3 hours one way to make maybe 3-5 mil was a lot of fun.... How lovely it was to have a stock Sambuk leading the fleet you were in so it only took 2 hours or so one direction...

    Be happy this time around that everyone is going to get handed hundreds of millions to billions in checks at launch. That way you don't have to spend days, weeks even just trying to make your first couple mil.

    You know I know we all lost a lot, but to say to the new developer we want ships is crazy, We worked for the stuff we all lost. I think it is more rewarding to work for stuff we want again and not expected to have it handed to us.  UWO is a community that we work and earn all we had and will have again

    I agree i would not like to see an astro ship or gear for at least 6 mths.  Give it 6 mths let people play and enjoy the game the way it was designed, and then slowly start sending in stuff like MspecF, MAV, stuff like that.  Hope we don't see AFCV + ships until at least 1 yr.

    Jest, speed boosts early on will probably be their biggest seller for the next couple months anyways.

    I'm sorry to lose only one ship, FIS which I bought from Helmut. He died, and he was in my memory of him. I do not have his photos and when I looked at this ship, I always thought of Helmut. All the rest I do not mind.

    Fully agree .. we should at least get back a few ships. We decided to come back ..even plan wasting numerous hours in SB again.. but NOT for the game.. mainly its for our community . The wipe sits deep in our bones ... none of us trusts the new company .. besides those who just jump from game to game and will be gone after xmas when the exitement left. UWO has a good playerbase .. a stable playerbase .its not still one of the best sailing games without those loyal players who has been sticking to uwo for about 12 to 14 years .. Why not have the sense and return to the main chars a ship of their liking? You guys offer founder items .. yes ..its nice stuff ... BUT its just a bait to buy bottles to use it!  Without ship its worth nothing ....Please think about it ...

    Ravager here, billions lost and ships that took a lot of effort, we should get some compensation but im sure we wont or they would have to compensate all of us, anyways nice to see you guys, hope to see you inside game when it launches for lots of maritime and piracy, BTW i told you it was DOOMSDAY! heheh
