Let me introduce myself first; i played UWO as a teen when it first came out and loved it, however due to school i had to quit and 5/6 years later i find myself loathing it again to find it shut down; but anyhoooo am super excited to hear this news and I have some questions that i never managed to figure out last time i played. Thanks every for your patience and help :()

At the beginning of the game where cities are undeveloped the goods # is very limited, goods purchase limit will decrease every time you port hop ie: 25->20->15, but it's the only way i've done things; Does using purchase orders decrease purchase goods limit? Ie: has same effect as port hopping just without actually the port hop? When will the limit lift? I remember i would port hop for 30 mins and then the stock would be like abysmal so i would stop playing, ahhh so nostalgic

I wouldn't mind if others newbs like me followed this thread and asked other questions, in fact i would love to learn more about the game; but for organization's sake please refrain from asking unless the previous has been answered!

I have noticed using Po's that the products do decrease at a rate but having the skill levels give you a rise in the product you are buying as long as you have the skill for it and it helps raising the skill as you go

No using PO's will reset to the goods back to max.  Say you buy 20, port hop, then theres 15, port hop again, then there's 10, use a po, and it goes back to 20.  If u don't mind port hoping and have few po's u can hop 2-3 times, then use a po, and do it again 2-3 more times.

for most efficiency you should dry up the market until you hit the minimum amounts able to be purchased then use the purchase order.

In some cases if your in a rush and in a dangerous place using these to quickly "get out of dodge" is also handy^^

Here is the numbers for each "trade" category to get you to the next level of
trade skill.  Goods and total are the Purchases you need to make to get to the next level.

ie. to get to level R2 mineral trading I had to purchase 66 ores...
to get to level R14 mineral trading, i had to purchase a total of 581,000 ores from a trade merchant (not a bazaar).

    Level XP  goods/1xp  Goods  total
    1- 100 0.66 66 66
    2- 400 1.35 540 606
    3- 900 2 1800 2,406
    4- 1600 2.65 4240 6,646
    5 -2500 3.33 8325 14,971
    6- 3600 4.1 14760 29,731
    7- 4900 4.75 23275 53,006
    8- 6400 5.4 34560 87,566
    9 -8100 6.5 52650 140,216
    10- 10000 7.15 71500 211,716
    11- 12100 7.8 94380 306,096
    12 -14400 8.45 121680 427,776

Only buy 20x your trade good buying lvl to maximise points.

Eg you have food trading lvl 2 buy only 40 food at a time
If your food trade lvl is 5 buy only 100 a time.

More that that is a waste of points, the point lvl is capped at x20.
