I feel as thou GMs should look through forums and any account or ip where there is someone saying, i mite not return cause of ya'lls changes.  And remove the founder rewards from those accounts.  Teach them not to talk to new game host like that.

Sometimes it's best to not say anything....people should learn that.

    But sitting here telling the new host u may or mite not play depending on their decisions.  If i was them, i'd make ur mind up for u.

    I never quit UWO due to any changes.  Don't think i ever said "If OGP doesn't fix piracy i will quit"  but i know i said "If OGP doesn't fix piracy server will die."  And i was correct on that.

    That's why you were never them. Cos you ignore to understand the players thoughts and ideas of a 7year old game. For some players, this is more than a game so you might not understand it well on how they feel about the full reset of the game.

    Meh....

    It's their choice, and it's also their option to express their concern. If you take away peoples voice to express their concern, or even dislike, then you're just punishing them for expressing themselves, and that's not right. 

    Now, if they are just constantly being negative Nelly's and doing nothing but complaining, then action could and maybe even should be took against them. But if they make a single thread about it? No way in hell should that be punished.

    i've read almost every post on this forum.  It's not 1 post from 1 person i'm talking about.  But repeated posts from same people saying they will quit for this or for that is what i was refering too.  Stating ur opinion no matter how strongly is not the same as these ultimatum's given to Papaya from these peeps.  

    @jest11 apparently u've not read most posts or u'd know that i believe only 1 person left playing has actually played longer than me.  I played on a version of this game BEFORE it was released on netmarble as a beta.  So i dont want to hear about time.  Yes others have spent more money than i have, but if u'd read on the ToS or EULA somewhere i know it says that once u spend ur money on this game it is now forfeit.  

    Just like buying an "as-is" car.  6 months later is stops working.  You think the salesman going to give u ur money back?  doubtful.   They may give u a discount on another car if u buy from them again to help u out.  But u will never get ur money back.

    apparently ur not old enuff to have purchased a car before  "as-is" doesn't come with a warranty.  ONLY thing ur covered by is the "Lemon Law"

    I have this to say if people say they are not coming back cause they believe everything should be handed to them then this is not the game for them and they are the ones who want it all now and not to work for it. We all have to start over and yet we are doing it

    Thanks @aceman39 these peeps act like they are the oldest and richest in the server.  LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL    I've got almost 9 yrs here, and wealth lolol  i had the best ships u get almost get.  Had ang instead of sng, but other than that.  llmg6, angg6, rwjg6, chcg6 m.vicg4 as well as 2xILFS, 3x fullymodded g3 GF's  loads of checks.  the best non-forged gear u could have.  3 of my toons are teir 4, and one of them is teir 3. U name it i had it.  Yet i'm returning.

    but mainly cause i wanna pierat peeps :D

    @Pie, you may not have said "if these changes happen I'll quit," but I'm certain you've said, "because of these changes I'm quitting."  Either way, don't be too hard on these people, you've done the same :)

    @poeratthe I might not had the best ships but my Festive Indianman (Heavy) was a G3 and it was a gift and I loved that ship and I had decent armour and sword and all of it is gone and I was getting my bank up there with ducats and I made this character I had for a new start and took me two months to hit 58 trade and I worked hard to get where I got and I been playing since NM days and I am still gonna be here cause this is a good game

    The Forum is open for discussion... meaning leave your opinion wether it be positive or negative. Doesn't mean positive feedback only... or else... Im 100% sure PapayaPlay didnt think that the server wipe would draw only positive feedback on their forums.

    i quit because of boredom caused by changes i see it a little differently.  but i always kept my eye on UWO, and always came back and did the new content and played for a little while, then i'd want to go pirate, and that's when i'd get bored and quit again.  Can't expect to continue playing when ur bored.  But i never gave an ultimatum to the Host, and called it an opinion.

    And speaking out against host got me banned.  Well not really the host, just called the GM a liar got me banned.  but it was the truth as we later found out once he was fired.

    Feedback is fine, opinions are fine, but ultimatum's are not.  There's a difference.  I'm talking about the ones who are sayign "if they bring back piracy i won't return"  Those are the ones who need founder rewards removed from account.  Teach them to give a new host who's trying an ultimatum.

    The people who are saying this right now is saying they want to "quit because of the changes that Papayaplay is implementing"?

    What's the difference?

    pie - dedication means playing through the boredom, playing through the wife wanting you to do stuff, playing through your kids wanting some quality time, etc. You've got a ways to go mate.

    After all the hell and BS we both went through from GM Coolwind on OGP just  for telling our opinions to him even suggestions to the game that weren't negative at all he muted banned and deleted our forum posts.  With all that you actually want to REMOVE people founders rewards and follow in GM Coolcuck footsteps a man who pretty much single-handedly destroyed UWO/OGP?  Boy you must be out of yo got damn mind lmao .



    Listen people are ANGRY and rightfully so 7 + years gone in an instant no explanation no warning and no communication OF COURSE they will be mad and say they won't come back. I suspect some are in the early stages of grief and possibly will return later to the game if they see it flourishing this is as VERY strong possibility but if you wipe and remove founders rewards it would not only guarantee they won't return but it will also piss off many playing now as it would be seen as adding insult to injury for literally no purpose whatsoever rather than be vindictive and callous and could lead to boycotts of pay store and bad reviews. 


    The ability to voice our opinions to the GM and provide constructive criticism  is what makes the game grow and flourish if done respectfully. Asking for GM Benya to be more like Coolwind is pretty much making a bad situation 10x worse and will ruin the relationship of the GM and player you of all people should know that.  Let the people grieve and if they come back good if not whatever its cool just give them time. 


    You know I respect you Pie because you're not passive aggressive and you speak up and try to get things done I see a lot of you in me that's why I like you lol...but this is possibly the WORST suggestion you have ever given and that's coming from your friend. 


    We must NEVER EVER EVER allow another Coolwind situation to happen again and snatching founders rewards because someone said something you didn't agree with is the express highway back to that jacka**‘s policies...Never forget what we went through pie...

    What i think should be done and what's going to be done is too different things.  I was stated my opinion on that subject, not giving them GM's an ultimatum as others are.  I know what me and you went throu, these others dont so i don't expect them to understand.  But again was only my opinion.  which apparently we are allowed to express. Again i was refering to those who are like "...if u do this i won't return."  that's completely different than people saying "i won't return because i don't like the changes" or i won't return because of this.  

    You know me well CPC, u know i will stand up against unfairness of anykind even if it does personally benefit it.  That's just the type of person i am thou.  And right now i feel as thou people are treating the new host "unfairly" so i have to stand up and say something.  you know this cpc.

    @Crazy  For the last time u are mistaken, i sat down with my brother and my wife, and dicsussed time periods.  I was playing his game BEFORE i met my wife.  I met my wife in 09.  We were playing this game in this house that we moved too in 08.  Therefore sometime at the end of 08 and the beginning of 09 i was playing UWO.  I'm sorry you were not aware of the "early release" in america.  It happened.  You can verify it on wikipedia.  I had already restarted a 2nd toon by the time most of these beta players created an account.  It was available through steam.

    This was pre- closed beta.  It was an alpha on steam.  Do  you not get that?  It says BETA 2010, So before 2010 it was what?  oh yea ALPHA.  please stop. ur embarassing urself.  As i've said.  I had to transfer my account to NETMARBLE.  and i was never gpotato.  explain that?

    Well i thought the information was on there but i don't see the "early release" on there anymore.  But i promise u jack.  I was on steam for a while, before i had to transfer to netmarble.  I was never on gpotato. So where else would i have migrated from?

     Your op is rather hypocritical. You posted at least twice that you were about to give up due to the lack of information from Papaya Play. Maybe you should offer to give up your founder rewards? Or is YOUR reason for writing you might quit somehow better than someone else's?
     Some of the negativity in the forum is a direct result of the lack of moderation by Papaya Play. This lack was not beneficial to UWO and in fact might well turn out to be detrimental. Using your logic, Koei should  rescind Papaya Play's license for the game. That would sure teach Papaya Play to better manage game forums in the future.
