    Last night a guy in school chat claimed to have grinded shipbuilding into the upper teens. I forget his name but Blonde_Swordsman and J were in world chat and saw it also. Not sure if something like that is possible with the boosts.

    Since half the ships you would need for the grind aren't available because of the world reset and no development it's doubtful.  It's doubtful anyway but that makes it really doubtful

    not possible. maybe getting one of your levels into the upper teens (I got to 4/7/11) but no way you get any skill that high on the first day.

    It is possible. Depending on how many ESBRs they used. :p

    I don't think you realize how many ships have to be built to get to the teens level in shipbuilding. We're talking about dozens, and then hundreds of ships, just to move up one level. you would have to use probably 500-1000 esbr's to get to the teens. Even if you could afford it, I don't think you could use them that fast.

    I realise completely. Assuming favoured skill. :p It takes 3558 ships from 1-16 assuming all ships available. :p

    Subtract the fact some of those are Turk Galleys,Schooners and CUtters. Then it's more like 5000. :P
    It is possible assuming you can make a ship every 3 seconds and use an ESBR. :p It would take around 24 hours to max it out . :P

    Of course you would have to get your tactics skill high enough to pull the quest for shipwright. Sure you could leach or have someone else pull the quest for you.
    Sure seems like a lot of things lining up just right to make it happen. Better chance playing the lottery.
