Please explain Resellers.

Can someone give some insight into what the heck this is about?!

I see them on chat constantly all day. WTB / WTT / WTS.

And they want the most expensive of items and claim to have them to sell also.

1. How on earth do they have the ducats to get these items.

2. Why? They are doing this all day and every day, and they seem to have no time to enjoy the game.
What is the point? They may be stood in Seville with 20b in there back pocket, but they don’t seem to take time to enjoy the game, so what is the point?

If you are one of those resellers I would like to know why you do it.
All that time u could spend grinding skills and or enjoying the game.

    My thinks about that.

    1) those maybe are owners of 50+ transfered accounts :p, and by that having lots of alts and checks

    2) they have no life neither they love the game, just love to scam ppl.

    First some people spend money on the game and get expensive items. They can sell trade or buy them its a part of the game.

    A reseller is some one who buys example dstorm sail for 300m and sells them for 500m.

    Second is that not every one has alot of money or items to sell. So some people advertise or buy all day because the game just got reset and not all items are easy to get or people want good money for items to buy otherstuff with.

    Where do the Sevillian Resellers get their cash from? 

    Multibox nanban fleets, Real money trading(some) , Reselling ships and UWC itens and rare items for high amounts by hoarding them to shorten supply them sell them really high when that item is scarce.

    This is a question I can answer As Im a Longtime Sevillian Auctioneer but I still know this world VERY well lol. UWO has many different "types" of players  in addition Uwo is VERY unique game in the aspect of how it can be played. I say that to say this...For the seville players this art of the deal looking for deals and profitiing from it IS the fun of the game for them there is a rush of excitement dealing with big money and negotiating with players.  Now most people say this is not "really paying the game " but this is what makes uwo such an awesome game it allows these "non players" to interact with uwo in their own way I'll list some ways below. ..

    1. Getting the best of the best ships for the players company or nation


    2. Paying off pirates not to attack a certain nation company and or certain quid pro quo players


    3. Due to 2 you can extort players to pay protection money to not be attacked this money is then shared with pirates (very mafioso) 


    4. Pay people to throw fights or trick players ... Ive seen ppl pay to sabotage companies from within sell players location some even pay others to BLACKLIST you meaning nobody will do business with you and won't fleet you for establishing or battle campaign...everyone has a price. 


    5. Place hits on players they dont like another fun aspect if a person smack talks you in Game don't go chase him...put 2 billion on his head instead and he can never sail in peace again lol


    6.(illegal)  some players turned uwo into a business where they sell these rare items for real money DONT DO THIS you will get banned...but not before they make thousands of dollars doing this. Predicting from a free game is enough incentive for them even at the expense of being banned.

    To each his own some do fighting with guns some do fighting with money and depending on who you ask some will prefer one or the other. 


    My personal opinion money makes the world round and he or she lol  who controls the money can manipulate and control other various parts of the game. With enough money you can be lv. 1/1/1 and still get every player to fear you or get them sunk, assist your company or nation, protect your friends, sabotage other nations by paying them off and achieve all of  greatest and darkest material desires muahahaha lol.

    Interesting cpc, thanks for the input.

    Only nowadays if your 1/1/1 you can’t exchange or even use pm’s ..so prob not all that dangerous at that point :p
