Question about specialty goods

I have a character that is an alcohol trader from England. School is finished and I have port permits for east and west Mediterranean. I want to do runs south to portugal area, making the most of specialty combos. I learned that you make the most of longer trips if you stock specialty goods in cases of 50 or more, then sell different types of goods together to get a combo. In the example it said you can do this with two types of goods, but would it be better to transport 3 or 4 different types of goods in cases of 50 and sell them all at once or is that a waste? Thanks in advance everyone.

buy whiskey from london and gin from netherlands. if you got permit sell them at west africa if not sell them at spain/portugal

you can sell both of them more than double price in west africa... good for starters
