GameGuard Bug [Weird Symbols]

KybbleKybble Posts: 0Member Beginner
Note: I've seen the issue before, but there were no solutions available.

(Please refer to the reference image above.)
The game opens just fine, loading the GameGuard program and then displaying the Actoz Soft and Papaya Play logos. It gets to the initial loading screen before the login page, but as soon as it finishes loading, it displays the error in the reference image.

I've already tried disabling my antivirus program (Avast) and I've also already tried running the game as an administrator. Neither of those possible solutions fixed my problem.

Does the staff actually read the forums and help?

I'm currently working with the Support team through the Support page to figure out my issue.

If anyone else has the issue, try this solution that they gave me. If it doesn't work, refer to the second solution. I haven't finished the second solution, so if it doesn't work for me, I'll update the thread.

    SOLUTION ONE
"This message occurs when the anti-cheat GameGuard is unable to authenticate the client, usually caused by real-time monitoring services of antivirus software. Please disable any such feature or turn off the antivirus completely so that the anti-cheat software can function correctly."

    SOLUTION TWO
"Please try adding the game client to be allowed through Windows Firewall.
    1. Open your computer's Control Panel by pressing the Start menu and typing in "Control Panel".
    2. Select "System and Security".
    3. Under "Windows Firewall", select "Allow an app through Windows Firewall". If you do not see this menu, click on "Windows Firewall" and click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall" on the next screen.
    4. Click the "Change settings" button.
    5. Click the "Allow another app..." button.
    6. In the window that appears, click the "Browse" button and add the game client and click "Add". The game client is typically found in C:\Program Files (x86)\La Tale\LaTaleClient.exe, but it may reside in another location if you have changed the installation directory.
    7. Click "OK" to confirm the selection."

UPDATE: Following the second solution has fixed my issue.
Unless the update/patch somehow fixed it, but I don't think so.
