3 Small Changes that would make things even better!

Hello, everybody!

I've been playing UWO since the realease as english server. Always enjoyed it and still enjoy it! Though, there has always been 2 little things that I though were missing, too much or to change.
  • Venitian Special Carriage:
Since long time, people always talked about creating a scpecial carriage from Venice to Either Florence or Rome (Like the Calais to Paris one). Creating this said Special Carriage wouldnt be realy hard, since Both Venice and Florence (or Rome) already have Carriage avalaible. Venice Charioter actualy been sitting in Venice saying the road is too dangerous since the very begening of the game. I think that to make Venice on the map (Since lets be honest, after 1 year of UWO, Venice became the ghost town of UWO), it would realy be nice to add this very little perk.

  • Compagny Shop Search
Compagny shops are great. Its a quick way to find something that you were searching for that other players sells. But there's one thing that im sure made people fail to find an actualy avalaible item, and its the Super severe Case sensitive search. What i mean is you can't put a ''r'' if it was actualy a ''R'' on the item name, you can't write only part of the name of an item like ''Ancient code'' for ''Ancient code of laws''. There are some items in the game that had been misswritten in the game, like ''Large storm sail'' who's actualy ''Large storm  sail'' (Don't see the differance? You actualy need to put 2 spaces after the storm XD). You could change it to make it avalaible to everybody who can do search in compagny shop, or you could add a new higger rank in compagny searches that allow you at that point to add a '' * '' (Exemple i could write '' Ancient code* ''  and use it as a trump card.).

That's all the small quick changes that could be done in a way to improve game experiance for players. The second point might be harder to do (I don't know much how programation work To be honest) but the first one seems pretty easy to do since you already have Paris carriage to base on.

    IIRC Age of Reason updates the company shop search to be more user-friendly.
    It's alright, Ma, I'm only bored.

    Florence makes more sense than Rome since it's less distant (geographically speaking), but Rome is somehow equivalent to Paris in the sense of importance (Paris has the museum and Rome has the arena). I'd like to see that charioteer Venice-Rome-Naples, which would be also a very good thing for adventurers trying to rank unlock up ^^.

    There's probably a reason for it, and somebody will tell me why company shop searching requires several promotions before you can use it. The new players who need to keep a tight budget to stretch out their ducats are the ones who need the search feature most. In a city with a few companies, it's not such a problem, but in places like Seville it can take a lot of game play time to go through all the companies to find a decent price.

    Plus newer players often have to search the full lists since they haven't learned what category the item they want/need falls under.

    the promotions needed to search is ment to simulate the need for some sort of fame before you can walk into any random company shop tell them what your looking for and expect anything more than a 'got nun of that here'
