3% Processing Fee for UWC?

Good afternoon, Support/GM's/CA's.  It appears that Xsolla/Paypal is charging a 3% processing fee on UWC purchases.  I charged $15.00 twice last week, and saw two additional $0.45 charges in my account.  I don't recall Xsolla/Paypal charging this fee on OGPlanet, and I'd like to confirm whether this is a new provision going forward.  I am not upset at all (and I will continue to purchase UWC as I am able) as I understand there are fees associated with accepting and processing credit cards; however, generally, merchants do not pass those charges on to the consumer.  Thank you in advance for your prompt reply and have a great day.

    Did you call up your CC company and inquire about those fees.. sometimes, its the CC company that charges foreign transaction fee...

    I was not charge any fee when I bought some UWC

    we used to get a extra fee ontop with og planet aswell - usally appeared once u log in to paypal for final payment.

    There is a reason I refused to use Xorsta when OGP no longer accepted paypal.

    And whether that 3% charge is speciified or not, there is noone else than the customer to pay it.

    Beside this Xsolla is a russian company - who want to trust russians with their financial info ?

    Xsolla is also known for baxk in april silently putting large (18%) "donations" on the charges through them until the game companies made them stop, so while they are convenient fro the game providers they are utterly nontrustworthy to me.

    If Papaya wants my money they must accept paypal directly - without asking me to pay Xsolla more than I allready pay PayPal.

    I subsequently charged UWC via PayPal and was able to avoid the 3% fee.  This would suggest to me (as gd6noob points out) that it was my credit card company.  I never saw additional fees with OGP--before or after using Xsolla.  However, I was affected by the credit card breach this summer and my bank proactively alerted me and stopped the charges.  The charges were made under an online game based in Germany, Albion Online.

    You fool. Xsolla is run by Russian hackers!

    Prior to ogp shutdown many of us were having the same credit card theft after using Xsolla. They also secretly put a opt-out style donation of 50% of your purchase. If you click through you agree to it by default.

    Report to police and get this thief company busted, before more ppl fall asleep into their trap.

    I bet PPP is as guilty as Xsolla on this ordeal.

    I didnt get a charge for buying UWC but I did get charged 10UWC for each store purchace I made.
