Deck Battles

Does anyone know who these now work?

I have yet to be attacked by a player I can't simply outrun. I've only used the option in a PvE fight with one ship.

Does this work when you have more than 1 NPC ship in the battle? How's the rest of the battle handled if you de/spawn in the FPS deck battle zone?

What about player fleet battles? Can you deck battle if you are fleeted with another player?

Exactly what has Papaya changed/removed/added to deck battles?

    You need to sail more hehehe :),  

    Basically to deckbattle is only possible between fleet flag ships  (aka leader party, or you if go alone against the other fleet) .  First flag ships must engage into melee, if npc's the enemy, must have less sailors than yours to be possible enter into deck battle, if enemy is player then when you hit deck battle a request is sent to the player to check if him allows the deck battle, if accepts then deck battle begins.

    In deck battle whole fleet members enter into deck and begins a battle just like if were a land battle.

    About the changes done by papaya:

    "Deck Battle may now be initiated without the consent of both sides when you initiate a Deck battle with the flagship of a Fleet and the character on that ship is either a Bounty Hunter or has bounty on their head."

    Seems that changed the conditions for the button, so it will begin the battle instead sending the aproval request.

    At least that explains why I wasn't able to initiate a deck battle against an NPC fleet, since I wasn't the admiral of our fleet.

    Normally, you can go into deck battle by meleeing the flagship of the fleet (then, you do deck battle against all the fleet captains that are still alive). That works also for PCs, but not for event history NPCs, as far as I know. Probably that changed now, but no idea.

    If there are more than one NPC ship, you can only enter a deck battle when in melee with their admiral. If you do enter the deck battle, then every member of your fleet and every NPC captain all spawn together in one deck battle to decide the overall victory.
