    A monopoly?
    Nothing stopping anyone from going and getting them for themselves. Nothing.
    But if you want to talk about monopolies then you should talk about the Excalibur and mjolinar, and so many other items. Any FS part, anything that requires any skill at a high rank. That would be most every item in the game. You only have a problem with this one?
    What about any cannon? Have to be max caster.
    The point is that you can buy one or go and get one. Just like everything else in the game.
    I have to buy cannons from casters while they 'have a monopoly on them' which is not fair. Oh wait, I guess I could just put forth the effort to become a caster myself and make them.
    I will spend well over 2-3 billion on cannons over time easily and i will not complain even though they will lose dura and need to be replaced. The SSB is a one time purchase (or plunder) so even at 2 - 3 billion it's a deal for any true SBer.

    Hell any item that gives bonus to skills and does not lose dura should be worth a lot more. I cant think of any other item though.

    As I said, most of the things like Excalibur are once per toon, wheras a high rank Plunder character can get chest after chest after chest.

    Yep I have gotten about 200 chests so far and only one SSB. Thanks about one month of doing nothing but trying to get them chests.
    Most could create a new toon and get the Excalibur again within that time.
    What about cannons or FS sails? Those can be made and sold over and over? It's a monopoly!

    @captainQC at some point I am sure the price will drop to 1b or less, but I don't believe you will be able to find one at that price for some time.

    I predict Papaya put it into Captain ticket in near future.

    Papaya just announced this past few weeks that all items in the captains tickets will be items that are NOT obtainable in-game.
    I would bet that will change at some point but they will stick to it for awhile now to save face.

    Well even if they don't put the SSB in a ticket they could always put some other item with +1 SB, say gloves, boots, headgear or whatever.

    Or put the +1 SB Ruqun back in the Cash Shop.

    Ruqun  would be awesome if back in shop but papaya didn't want the free founders coins spent on it so they yanked it... Sigh capitalism


    Papaya stands to make the most money if they offered both the Ruqun and SSB+1 In tickets as a rare drop and I think that's EXACTLY what they're going to do lol. Money talks boys and girls lol. I'd personally buy both the last two ranks of SB'ing are Brutal and I rather spend billions or real money rather than go through it even with the boosters and the 1/2 SB time Oxford

    I know its a bit off-topic but I wonder why dont they release another SB+1 equipment that has "use effect" (i.e. no losing dura on the sea). 
    In many cities, shipyard is located too far from a bank. I always feel bothered to bring SW saw and to bring back it every time I order a ship and sometimes feel even upset as I often forget it. 
    I would be willing to pay 10 USD for it.

    The only +1 SB item with an effect is the SSB. And while that's an idea to consider, I highly doubt it'll ever be implemented. The whining would never cease.

    So, regarding the location of these fleets, can you find them in the Cape Cod waters, or do you have to go farther north?

    They are in the new foundland waters. Also in EA.
