Guys newbies aren't supposed to be paying 100k for mct and spice that's not their game that's for end gamers people who are more well off and can afford it. Newbies are still plucking feathers or getting their company members to build them ships BASIC ones to grind with.

The game is going JUST FINE if you have to say to yourself that these prices are way too high more than likely you shouldn't be buying them OR you should be getting or making it yourself. Again you want prices to drop bring more of the good they are selling and don't buy the high prices SIMPLE.

This natural regulation through the free market and competition is how the game is played. Let it work naturally and play the trade game the more you complain sweety the more time you could be spending making money step it up!

Resellers (speculators) are a natural part of any free market. If you don't like their prices don't pay them. Another essential part of a free market is educated consumers. The reality of a free market is that the consumer sets the prices for commodities based on what they are willing to pay, not the reseller.

You are talking about selling to markets, that's a 'built in' game mechanic, I'm talking about selling to other players via bazzar's and company shops, there's a BIG difference. You don't really have control over what the market will buy your goods for (not including haggling), but to a player you can charge what ever you want up to the game max. Therefore, there's a range of reasonable selling rates and there's a range for both below player market rates and one for price gouging with extreme overpricing.
I've never said that it was wrong to make a profit or that i was upset at the prices because i needed those items. Fact is i don't need any of those items nor would i pay more for anything i could get in game myself. My point in this thread was about people talking about rebuilding and helping new players come into the game, but as soon as opportunity came the game turned into a 'every person for themselves' attitude.
I know that when i first started back on OG, i was discouraged by the prices in the bazzars that i saw. I thought i'd never afford any of the stuff in the game, and at that time prices were cheap by game standards lol. So i can only imagine what's going though some of the new players minds now when they see prices like 100m for a common +1 skill item. Point is everything is early game low end common stuff in circulation now, not end game rare power items.

white ore is a common drop on the first floor of bordeux dungeon, you don't need any of that other stuff at this stage.

time which is generally more valuable than anything

I never said anything about buying boosts, the game has a 200% base boost on right now. If you want to use extra boosts from welcome pack or in game rewards then all the better, you will get to r12 all that much faster! As for PO's, just like the white ore they are common drops on the first floor of Bordeux dungeon, local and easily accessed by everyone. Or there are plenty of low star guild quests that will reward po's as well. I like bord because you get both ore and po's together.

i do agree you can get to r12 casting in a few days, and that is why i suggest you spend your time to do it instead of complaining what those who did charge for it.

I did get my casting to r12 but that is besides the point. I never said i was complaining for me or that i even needed any of those items. My whole post was about the hypocrisy of the attitudes from before to post game launch when dealing with other people. I may have only been playing for 2 years but i know the difference between a realistic and ridiculous price. You clearly missed the whole point.

And you only need have 150 +defence/50+ attack, and couple good skills & medicaments to survive in it. Wich you cannot get really easily without spending some UWC, and you want those things free.

actually you don't need that much, but if you want to to use that as your reason then my rebuttal is... If you are going to grind your casting to r12 for mcct then...

-first off you wouldn't be going down to bord to collect ore until you were ready.
-second, once you build your casting to r10 you can make 100D armor...
-thirdly, at r12 (the rank you need to make mcct's) you can make 100att flamburg, and all meds can be bought at any major city or at bord item shop

sorry your statement lacks backing. Really there is no excuse, it's a matter of strategy on how you build your character. You don't have to spend any UWC to accomplish any of this. i was doing bord with instr mathias sword (15 att). You just need to spend more time actually playing the game instead of bashing forums :p

What Xibwis meant to say was that he is way to lazy to get the skills and grind them so he can get stuff, he just wants everything super easy for himself. He needs everyone else to to to Bordx and get the stuff he wants and sell it to him cheap.
