A new update?

While there were the wipe out, Papaya Play announced the Age of Reasons chapter as the new update and it seems that would be launched very close to the reopening of the server. Does anyone know something about it?

    It is too early for a new update. We have not even open nanban yet.

    Try to spend $1000 every month, and maybe Papaya would consider opening a new chapter because of the overwhelming popularity of premium content. 
    Until then I do not think they are motivated, simply because it can live for years on selling low grade ships due to the server wipe.

    There is some truth to Katana statement.

    but consider too that we currently have no development, money or skills enough to enjoy the currently published content, that makes introducing new content rather pointless since we will spend a long time before even noticing the difference. 

    also Age of Reason should had brought the Steam Ship which replaces quite a few UWC ships they surely plan to sell us before they make that one available. 

    lastly i would prefer they rather fix the bugs we still have almost a month after launch before trying to make updates and grandfather those bugs longer.

    There are a lot of bugs in quest info.

    Some school quests told me report to Npc in a wrong port. Luckily i read 3rd party quest guide rather than the buggy quest info, or i would have sworn at this greedy but incompetent new publisher fot wasting half an hour in confusion.

    This shows that PPPkay give little care to players.

    With such a bad quality in their code base, i dought they could release new updates.

    New updates are coming. From my interactions with them, it seems that Papaya is even more excited about that content than the players; But, it's probably going to be a little while, though.

    Many of the updates from Industrial Revolution on require (or are at least augmented by) things in East Asia. As of right now, no nations yet have access to EA, so until that happens, it's a safe bet that updates are on a temporary hold.

    For right now, though, the points made by some of the folks in the other posts are valid: We don't yet have the development, port permits or skills to use all currently existing content. We should focus our attention to developing major ports, unlocking port permits via IQs, and developing our characters, companies and nations rather than worrying about updates we won't be able to fully enjoy for some time.

    I doubt that any in game content is controller by papaya at all. Other than the cash shop I would assume all internal coding is Koei's.
    Papaya just put the game on their server and runs the cash shop to pay for it.
    Yeah yeah, papaya IS trying to make as much as they can. No they could not care less about you as long as they are making money. That's what businesses do. Does not make them evil. It makes just like you and I. I doubt any of you go to work every day and reject your paycheck because you want the people to be happy.
