Demi vs Agni

Any thoughts on which among the two have more soloing + dps potential?

Im actually a returning player with a lv200 BA already, but I am intrigued with these two new classes so I need some thoughs from experienced users.

    Demi was top DPS then pop came in and said, "bye"  agni can keep up with top dps since its more forgiving, that and ive seen agnis with mediocre gear and out damage those who are actually geared. 
    agni is more solo/ beginner friendly because the ARP system. (or w.e its called) 
    both agni and demi require you to have some source of ely since they are slightly expensive ( regarding demis pole upgrades/enchants and agnis stone upgrade/enchants)

    its all on player preference, not a fan of telling people which is better because that ruines the whole experience on actually liking the class.
