To put a bit of perspective on your question, yes it is worth coming back from zero as you can level up very easily and PVE can be a good avenue of playing if that is your style.

The PVP is also worth playing but you need to understand that there are a lot of players who have Perps and very high gear which make it very difficult, if not impossible to compete but if you find your level you can compete and it is still one of the best games I have played.

If you want to compete at the top level you will have to work hard to grind the ingredients to enable you to get the items needed and you will find it easier if you spend to obtain items from shop instead of grinding.

My advice, give it a go and learn as you level, that's the only way you will find out if it is worth carrying on

@northeastazu you are full of crap..

Here's some info from personal experience:
1stly, When I started I was full on P2P, had about 25-30 runes on, literary got to 192 in like 5-6 days. People that were playing all the time were barely around 150-155 and they got stuck af.... While I was soloing easily everything they had hard time killing the bosses in the 145 dungeon in Crespo, topkek.
2ndly, I had maxed out halloween ring, mitera and basically everything that required anything that could be obtained through dshop before I was fking 130... Where as some of my friends were getting srsly jelly, cuz they barely had 4 usefull accessories on...
3rdly, I had PVE costume at lvl 1... While my friends were enjoying timed wedding items for like 2-3 weeks before one of them had a panda costume in Wedd dungeon (accidently). I had infinite amount of tickets too cuz ofc... p2w... Managed to get Wedding ring in my 2nd solo attempt I was so OP from the runes that I didn't even need to be geared... LIKE AT ALL... +7 weapon worked perfectly, didn't die once. Same shit in Horror Wedd dungeon, literary soloed it with +7 gear fully runed.  (About the drop rate, I believe that the more you donate, the dshop has a way of unofficially repaying it's debt, aka higher drop rate)
4th, A little more on the topic of tickets and dungeons. You can literary do an infinite amount of dungeons when you pay, which helps you progress a shit tone faster... It's not only hard for a newcomer, who can't or doesn't want to pay, it's insanely hard, near impossible.
5th, Talis n shit... getting full +9/+10 literary took me an hour... Sold shit I bought from dshop, bought argates, protectors and talis - got myself a set... Easy. Yeah, peeps around were begging for dil, talis, +ing n everything... Yes, it was that p2w.
6th, Other premium items: Pets, neckies, potions, buffs, basically everything else you can think of.... There are soooo much helpful and op shit that you can only obtain by paying that it's unimaginable....
Lastly and probably the most important fact: Dil buying. There are so many dil buyers in Dekaron, fucking websites can't keep up with the demand, lol. (Friend told me, topkek). I've literary had tones of dude asking me for 15-20 mins to buy my items, also this dude literary asked me if he should get 15 or 20b, or this other dude asked me if 100b is enough for a full set, lol..
So take a guess m8... How easy would be for a f2p user to compete with a p2w user.... You will literary be on the bottom of the food chain. A bug that's gonna get squashed and outclassed every step of the way.
And don't even get me started on the support, ingame bugs, updates and overall development.

All in all... If you are willing to spend money - yes, definitely worth coming back to, if not - then find another game to play m8. :)

hi all, why is it that every time someone asks if its worth coming back or playing, there is negative responds each time? if you have played the game long as i have and others since 2moons, you have seen it all, and would know there was always something to complain or see a problem in, yet people kept playing. but ingeneral, i think its different for everyone and how you see the game as fun or enjoying, for me it would be my guild and friends i have, if not for them, even if i had the full package, game wouldnt be worth logging at all, so its all in perpective ^^

I'm not sure why you think i'm full of crap as I seem to be saying the same as you?

you can level up very easily and PVE can be a good avenue of playing if that is your style

a lot of players have very high gear which make it very difficult, if not impossible to compete at the top

you will find it easier if you spend to obtain items from shop instead of grinding.

Essentially pay to win but try anyway and see if you like it.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your wall of text

    @northeastazu
Sorry, you are right, my response was a bit harsh... I just think that you are sugar coating the current state the game is in...
And do you legit believe that you can compete PVE/PVP wise at the top being a f2p player with people that have been paying for years?

    Appreciate that  :)

No I think the game has a lot of players who have/paid for OP items and make it almost impossible for a new non paying player to compete at their level. I liken it to the English Football Premier League, there are the top six who's spending power means the other clubs can't get near them.

I gave up on PVP ages ago because of this and just focus on PVE. My advice to a new player is try the game and find your own level because it is a good game but unless you are willing to pay real money don't expect to get the high level items or compete at the top level anytime soon, if at all.

perspective huh? - funny because it's just one way to sugar coat the bs and incompetency of the Devs and GMs of this game.

It's not being so negative. It's just the truth plain and simple and "truth" really hurts

It is no longer worth coming back if you are only into FreeToPlay just like the old times where all players have "more or less" and atleast equal opportunity in the game. If you want to comeback and enjoy it, you can't be too "pacifist" because you'll get killed (worst get bullied) by other players who has good gears and Dekaron is just like that. Buying and selling dills online/international is like a normal thing nowadays (not mentioning duping - YES IT IS STILL HAPPENING) and GMs can't do shit about it...they don't care either way since they DO NOT HAVE a reputation to uphold.

We can all both agree that there's only a handful of players (I may have exaggerate there, so lets just say a hundred of players) now who are really active in the game and the rest are either zombies or cry babies as a result of a dying/dead game.

Devs and GMs killed it, Papaya is just milking players now who still hold on to the game.

Lucky for those who already invest so much in the game since 2moons.

P.S: Check out the news about the bug in our current Mitera Anger pieces event. I honestly believe that our GMs won't permanently ban those who already abused it because like I said they don't have any reputation to do so and players is just OK with it as they say, you just look it in a different "perspective" and everything will be ok so why even care?
