How do you get to Oxford Level 2 building?

Do  you have to finish every single major in the first building, or do you just have to get a certain number of points, or what? Can you repeat majors to get the points needed? thanks in advance!

    After a certain number of completed theses, the next building will become available.

    Go back to oxford and talk to professor after each stage of event is done.

    I’m not quite sure of the exact forumla but I have the 4 schools open and 4 skills slots available.
    I have completed over 80 thesis.

    I have repeated many but it also does seem to be a factor how many separate college skills you have done.

    I think if I go into my skills/college I have 15 or 16 available and that I think unlocked the 4th skill slot.

    Buildings  at oxfords.

     Basic Research Bldg : Research room available from the beginning. Allows initial research. (Submissions 0) 

    Advanced Research Bldg : Slightly larger research room. Allows more advanced research. (Submissions 12) 

     Specialty Research Bldg : Much larger research room. Allows extremely advanced research. (Submissions 30) 

    Free Research Bldg : A research room with the latest in equipment. Cutting edge research possible. (Submissions 50)

    I have 120 theses, 4 schools open but only 3 skill slots.

    Buildings seem to be a function of the number of theses. Majors offered in them and the skill slots seem to be related to the number of different Majors you take (i.e. the number of Oxford Skills you have).

    You can repeat majors as many times as you like.

    I grind theses to graduation. Doing chickens ---> eggs ---> chickens and standing in the cafeteria in London Square I can complete and report the 1* Basic Production thesis in under 2 minutes. But this quick ones are only worth 50 credits.

    After graduation I tend to repeat the 4* production thesis to rapidly build up credits for changing between high level Oxford skills. Some skills (e.g. ship speed up 4) need 5k credits to place in a skill slot. Max points you can accumulate is 50k.

    Always report thesis while in a relevant job for max exp.

    And you need 100 theses to graduate if you keep to the quest. Completing theses without following the quest chain doesn't contribute to the 100. It took me 107 to graduate this time because I always have a thesis going even if I can't get back to Oxford.

    The graduation hat is +1 Alchemy - handy, but like some other reward clothing you have to activate the right title to wear it. So it's limited usefulness.

    Yes, you can repeat a thesis as many times as you want. The quick ones can be useful to finish up the storyline, but of course they don't give as many credits.

    Just an update on my post above.

    Following what was discussed on this thread, I worked on doing some different majors, and when my number of Oxford skills reached 17 I was rewarded with my fourth skill slot - that was with 120+ theses.

    However, my other toon now has 20 Oxford skills, 72 theses, but still only 3 skill slots.

    Bizarre or what?

    I've got no idea when (or why) I'll get the fifth skill slot. Lucky dip?
