5 players in the same household

 Hi, 5 people in my house want to play. As of now 3 of us have accounts, I noticed the warning about 3 players per IP/household. Are we not all able to play together? If this is the case, is there any way to allow us to play together?

    No. You are not welcome as one big household.

    Just split half of your household onto a separate ip address, like cell phone data, and you will be fine.

    I doubt PPP can tell the difference.

    Papaya will enforce it's rule - max 3 accounts per IP address logged on at one time. But it seems to rely on this being reported by other players.

    Other players only report 5-person fleets all clicking 'follow leader' and not acting independently. Because you can pretty much tell by looking at them that they are operated by one person.

    UWO is vast and the options for developing characters almost limitless. 'Playing together' just means you are on company chat together while you each do your own thing. The chances of the five of you all wanting to do exactly the same thing at exactly the same time are zero. You could play like that and never be reported.

    But if you're all gonna follow each other around doing the same thing - no one is going to believe you are 5 real people. Because 5 real people would almost never do that.

    So I'd say if there are genuinely 5 of you go ahead and enjoy the game. Just be wary about how you fleet together.

    Ok so let me get this right. People are complaining that people never fleet together, and then when they do.....So low life reports them and gets them banned. So now tell me.....Why should people fleet together again?

    5 persons in a same household would be unable to play the game, as simple as that, only 3 toons is allowed per ip.

    This rule can suit to 99% of the players while only happens to 1% of the players who might, if even it is possible, to meet with 5 persons in a household.

    Hello Papaya,

    My Family relatives they got ban for 7 days because they fleet us but we're on different IP address so meaning the CA/Pirates they're looking for fleet of 4-5 then you're done. We will understand if 4-5 fleet on the same IP address you ban them no reason to complain as we will accept it. If household having 2 IP address as we can afford to pay monthly for 2nd IP address just to play as Family meaning each IP address they're allowed 3 toons if this not allowed then we should stick 3 toons only disconnect the 2nd IP address to save monthly bill.

    Why didnt your “family” all do their own stuff, or played something that’s multi no-matter, like pvp.

    it clearly says per 3 chars person not max 3 per Ip. i dont know where others get their IDEA..

    just don't login on the same time should be fine.. Dont abuse and move on max 3 per fleet..

    I think you've got that wrong. There is no mention of "per person" in the Terms of Use. It says "up to three characters per IP".

    Or perhaps I've misunderstood you.

    According to the rules - "Multi-boxing is permitted up to 3 characters, per IP, per household. In the case there are more than 3 players from the same household, please do not log on at the same time."

    This means only 3 characters per IP and household. You can not run 3 characters at the same time on the same account, that is impossible. but they are saying not only IP but also household. 

    So you can not use more then 3 accounts period. If there is 5 people in the household that want to play, then you need to have 3 log in for a while, let them log out, then a little later let the other 2 people play their games. If you try to log in all 5 at the same time from the same household, and someone reports you, or papaya sees it, you can all kiss your accounts goodbye for 7 days. After the 7 days, if you do it again, you can kiss your accounts goodbye forever....

    Just let everyone in your household use their mobile hot spot!

    These days everyone has a smart phone with at least 3G internet if not 4G or 5G.

    UWO does not chew much of the data.

    Again legetimate users will find their ways around, while abusers will find the cost if abusing continuously increases. This is then considered a healthy system.

    Well.. that's pretty lame.. And yes, we'd sometimes obviously be partying together.. especially if we want to go blow up large fleets. We generally all play games together as a family. We run our own server on ark, etc, and we all log in together. I understand the underlying problem that it addresses, but that isn't our intentions.

    It doesnt matter whether you are innocent. As long as someone reports you for any being any resemblance to 5x multi, Papaya would ban you. Because they do not care about your feeling.

    At the moment Papaya have spent all their effort on captain ticket update so that the could make quick money before they run away.

    Talavar, no ones going to report you all for actively blowing up npc fleets. 

    If you all look like 5 different people, doing  different things, you aren't going to get reported. 

    The multi's who get reported are the people with 4 toons in tow everywhere they go. The ones who are buying goods with 5 toons in SEA or Nanban. The ones who dress all their alts up to look a like, with all the characters looking a like, who usually have similar names, whose levels are all almost identical. 

    If you truly have 5 different people playing, your levels will all be considerably different, the toons are all going to look different, with different gear, in different boats, and most of the time you'll be doing different stuff. People wont report those guys, as you'll appear to all be from different ips anyways.

    No. there is no way that the 5 of you can all play at the same time from one house and still be within PP's TOS.  Unless 2 move out or go play from your nearest Starbucks. 

    Each of the 5 can have an account though.   Just can't all play at the same time.

    I'm slightly horrified at the thought of a family of 5 where all have to be doing the same thing at the same time.

    LOL..  just because their in one house they cant play UWO .. tsk..  even this banning per IP is Ridiculous.. there are tons of ways PAPAYA Can DO their jobs in banning..

    they can even ask a special submission of players per household. so that GM's can monitor names listed if they really are not alt/toons following and getting towed.

    and directly saying THERE IS NO WAY THAT 5 OF YOU CAN PLAY AT THE SAME TIME.. when a single player is even allowed 3 toons.. so playing solo has privileges?.. and family's dont?

    and that's fair playing to you?

    those who are against multiboxer's is just ok but dont take it too far.. you don't own the game.. 

    they already made it clear .. "please Do Not Login more than 3 characters per person on one ip/household at the same time".. you see this everyday highlighted in RED.. so is this typographical error or not?? 

    clearly not more than 3 char person//  so person is allowed up to 3? surely papaya posed that for a reason..

    so family's playing together should be welcomed. not PUSHED AWAY... there really is a conflict PP's TOS and the game notice we read everyday.. so i think authorities need to step up..

    cause this is affecting family's like us playing together. now im having hard time convincing my bro to play again cause of few selfish --------- in this game..

    people hating multiboxer's blindly running over people like us..

    this hate has to stop.. this is not the way the game will survive..

    Alternatively the family has to submit two or more of their passport copies or social ID to obtain the rights of running under one IP for more than 3.

    This way it is a legitimate proof that more than one person is playing the 5 toons.

    I like the idea of letting pirates restricts multi.

    If a fleet had more than 3, then pirates have true plunder ability, which can plunder premium sails or equipment. It would be ok for those abide the rule while punishing heavily on multi 5.

    Letting pirates police the game is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house.

    Besides, pirates are outlaws, living outside society and the law - you should be supporting the rule-breakers not complaining about them.

    The fox and the hen house is just an old saying - maybe it's not used down your way. It's a funny observation - putting someone in charge of the hen's whose going to eat them!

    And the 'pirates' and 'rule breakers' parallel - just another humorous, ironic observation.
