Game hangs computer

Bug Report
Every time I play this game, my computer will eventually hang and get stuck. There is nothing I can do save restarting the system. This has become more than an annoyance now, and should have been fixed by now per all the complaints received about Gameguard or whatever the source of the problem might be. PapayaPlay, I hope y'all fix this soon. This was never an issue with the previous renditions of UWO.

    Been having the same problem here on Windows 10. Tried everything, deleted gameguard then let it reinstall itself and even reinstalling the whole game didn't solve the problem. Please fix! Major deterrent for us to log on and keep playing!

    I'm having this exact issue over 2 years later. Did anyone ever find a fix for this?
