GM-Shop function and GM/[DK] staff response clarification

I'm confused, can someone clarify a couple of things for me please?

What is the function of a GM Shop and how does it work? I thought GMs were provided with OP items such as GM Rings free as rewards for being a GM.

Do GMs actually have to personally pay for these OP items from the 'GM Shop'

Is this shop only accessible to GMs?

How is this true if the videos show in game players using 100% talis etc. from GM Shop?

Who has the ability to re set the price for these items

Why were these prices raised?

Who has the ability to make the shop accessible to in game players

Who would be aware of it?

So who does have access and who is responsible for the GM Shop items being used in game by ordinary players?

    There is no such a thing as a "GM-shop" in a sense that it is alternative shopping system in game. It is regular shop system that has been hacked in a way that hacker can post any item that exists in game code, thus enabling it to be "bought". Developers are directly responsible for this, also incompetent GMs who did little or nothing when they were told that we have a problem. Rising the price in database is some kind of deterrent, but not a solution. so crossing fingers that it will not become public is childish and immature. The problem still exists, although solution is simple (2 lines of code and 1 integer change in whole base). But no, they don't want to hire professionals or take their advice, they rather keep cheap amateurs, who are maybe nice people, good friends and colleagues, but in the end crashing the business... Don't take me wrong, although I know a lot about the game engine, I love the game and would never spoil it with giving unfair edge to anyone including myself. What's the point of playing if you are invincible? You can not be "little" corrupt, you are or you are not! The data I post about the game (dekaron.cf) is there for all players' benefit and serves as a help in game popularization (owner does poor job with marketing), but I am very careful not to break the business case, because it would end the game itself. Too many stupid and greedy kids are involved and no mature parents to give them decent spanking.

    Good thing i made my armor/wep myself and talis that i used where from event or bought few so yea [GM] can whipe all those dirty items, mine are clean. But after seeing this Papaya wont get single $ from me. Three of my friends rage quite game and npced their items, guildy after seeing this nonsense loged in just to give his items away and quit this game for good. Not sure about myself kinda hard to leave since been playing this game for little bit over 10 years.

    And ofcourse Papaya know about this. There is no way they couldn't notice during accounting their financial results because it's easy to notice those items being sold, even if those shouldn't be listed for regular public. Most likely they used for their own advantage to get extra income off the books so they can avoud to give X amount to Korean owners since they just have publishing rights for this game. Even if they didn't know about this then for sure they must be damn retards because me and couple players did report weird situation where during last couple months at NEXON weird named players where making crapload +10 gold dragon wepons even event was over for like 4-5 months and very few people had gold dragon wep box droped, we did report that as duping but clearly [GM]s where lazy to dig deeper and check player accounts, probably they checked item log ID to see if no duplicate and thats it. So yea this been going  on for sure at least 2-3 years.

    So in effect it is inappropriate access to game code which
    was:

    1.      
    not identified because they were not looking for
    it (removal of a CRC check)

    2.      
    not correctly and timeously acted upon once it
    was identified

    So essentially they need to:

    Replace the CRC check for both live and dev code as part of
    the weekly patch to ensure the raw data has not been changed by anyone (would
    that be frequent enough?)

    Restrict all live and dev Db code Read/Write access to
    developers (why would any other person need this?)

    And why not remove all GM privileges and restrict their role
    to the following duties:

    In game customer support

    Escalation route for in game player issues

    Running and participation in ‘in game events’

    Ability to disconnect any in game player discovered ‘hacking’
    (possibly)

    Or, they just need to switch shop items to server side only... If that is complicated, dissable d-shop completely and just leave everything in web-shop. First solution is more elegant, but you need developer that actually knows what he/she is doing...

    Agree with @MateaB1, they need to make the shop server sided not just the price. Also damage is done and we they cannot take those items out since they did profit on those items. Only thing they can do is to make it up to the community. I don’t know what kind of events or compensation they will do but they need to do something.

    im not into law stuff but is  it  possible to sue this people ? i dont put money here but i feel bad for those who invested tons of cash throughout the years and they got bann out of the nothing for no reason ...lmao

    It is possible since it’s some sort of scam now. People that spent money on that shop got banned ( Im not against it. They do actually deserve it) but they need to refund them

    Again they need to do a massive compensation to the server. Mitera bug perm ban is a joke. They literally broke their own policy from 7 - 60 day ban to perm ban. There’s so many solution to this kind is issues but they choose the easy way out.

    They need to compensate the players that’s what they need to do. There’s no need for us to know who gets banned for what to humiliate them? It’s a game, those players don’t give a damn if their name get posted in the ban list. They need to focus more into making the game hacked free.

    Hence my earlier post. I don't care who did this stuff as long as steps are taken to remove the people who did/allowed this to happen so that they can't do it again. The only problem is, how do they recreate the balance necessary to make it a level playing field given that players have illegally created items?

    Some kind of purge of these items needs to be done with compensation given to the innocent players who have obtained these items

    All I can say is make this gm shop available to all with a new pricing and tradable items. Refund all the money "DKCash" that has been invested the moment this things start happening.
