Thanks.  I am a 'founder'. 

I get a couple NC sails for my, what, my Barca?

Some SSIP's so I can God mod my Barca?

And buy FS parts for the same price or more than before the wipe?

So I can be 'fairly' and 'equally' screwed by all the people who dump tons of cash into this game?

Took me over 7 years to acquire the ships and skills necessary to co-exist with all the uber rich, and just like that, they are gone. 

But the uber rich?  Still gambling away.  Still gouging on ship prices.  Still monkey grinding dex and nuking newbs.

Only now, now, I am in a Barca.

    Well they also gave you a bundle of ducats, you could upgrade to a Cog.

    Yep it sucks.
    But it happened.
    Papaya is hosting the game to make money. It's true. They are not here to host it as a charity.
    What is the way they can profit the most?
    Take away all our end game ships and equipment and make us buy it all back.
    It would seem that OGP was not making enough profit from us to keep the game up so no way papaya could run it the same.
    And If we don't turn a profit for papaya.......

    All the money and effort you put into OGP was for OGP not papaya. What would make you think that Papaya owes you anything? They have gotten nothing from us yet. (Yeah yeah, I know many of us have spent since relaunch)

    Honestly, if you are in a barca, now, 50 days (49 at the time of your post) after the server launched, while being a player who played for 7 years, your problem isn't with the "uber rich" or papaya, your problem is with the amount of effort you are putting into the game, or the amount of time you are able to put into the game....

    I've sailed to Boston from Seville in a transport galley. It takes a long time.

    Try to sail that galley from Boston to Africa and then continue to Asia

    There's a special lateen sail in the cash shop - I wonder if it would fit my Barca. Might shave a day or two off my circum nav.

    To glorify barcas, Papaya may run a barca race event from seville to Sakai.
