TheCollective = Scammers

- I bought a ship at an aide's shop for 100k.
- The ship was an expedition tea clipper.
- I was asking about it in school chat.
- Then the Director of the London based Company (TheCollective) said I should return it to the other player.
- Suddenly I got a PM from someone else asking if I just bought a ship.
- At the same time, the company leader of TheCollective said that I should give the ship back to the original owner...
- The person who contacted me in PM said they knew who's ship it was and that I should give it to them so they can return it...
- I asked what the name of the Captain is that the aide shop said they belong to.
- Neither the Director of the company nor the person who was claiming to be the seller's friend would answer (they did not know)
- The person who sent me the PM, asked if I was the director's alt trying to get them into trouble.
So this Director of TheCollective in London and one of his company members tried very hard to scam someone else. I took screen shots of the conversations between them and I. I am sending those screen shots to support so that support can look into the server chat logs and verify that these people did try to scam me. Once they have checked the server logs, I hope they take action against the others (according to the rules) and disband the company which their leader runs.
All this topic is for, is to warn others that TheCollective and it's leadership tries to scam and they lie about it.
Their days are numbered and the proof is going to papaya to verify.

Those typically have been selling for 1.5-2.5 billion.
Were the others just asking you to return the ship out of good faith since the seller obviously did not know it's value?

Time for GMs to ban scammers. Make sure whoever reports take video shot.
If you got proof, post it (screenshots, not some transscripts).

TheCollective was one of the earliest companies on GAMA. Rachel and
I both played about 8 years on GAMA. Rachel spent many hours helping others in school chat. I have an idea of someone who might have carried over a grudge from GAMA, but there is no way to prove it.
That second "screen shot" was a re-typed (slightly) changed copy. And Razor/Rick thanks for not mentioning the company in your "screenshots" after throwing the company name over world and local chats, not to mention this forum entry. Very considerate of you.
Two people suggested he sell it back to the seller. *Then* Rick_O'Shea told us the seller was leaving the game. He did *not* say it was from a bazaar at the time. Why would someone *sell* an item if he was leaving the game? And as CaptainQC pointed out, an aide bazaar cannot sell ships.
Rick then proceeded to spam local and world chats for a while calling the company, and me, scammers.
I sent a screenshot of the spammed chat to support yesterday, asking that Rick_O'Shea be banned. I'm guessing that's why CaptRazor is in chat today.
