Need help from Adventurers

Hi, I've recently submitted a ticket about a discovery map (Tainan map) not providing the correct items. The map is a part of these quests and Xanadu chain:

1. Studying Safety Around Tamsui, Lima, Search 5, Archaeology 7, Chinese

2. Investigation of Koxinga, Jakarta, Search 10, Archaeology 12, Unlock 10

the 2nd quest of the list above gives you a Tainan map which you can use in Anping to receive the following two items:

1. Bolero

2. Bata de Cola

However, I tried this map not too long after the relaunch, and I was only able to receive Bolero. My alt also received Bolero only. In GAMA it correctly dropped two items, so I thought it was a bug and submitted a ticket to hear what GM had to say about it.

The reply, after 23 days of waiting, was not satisfactory. First, I was told I was likely not meeting the requirements for the discovery/map. I know that is not true because I was meeting the requirements and I got Bolero, 1/2 of the expected outcome. If it was a requirement problem, I wouldn't have gotten anything, as I wouldn't have been able to complete the quest at all.

I submitted a follow-up ticket and then received the reply that they've talked with KOEI and they said the 2nd drop is not guaranteed.

Personally I have never had any map that only dropped 1/2 of the expected result. Frankly speaking I find it hard to believe that is the case. This is where I need your help......

I am sure there are a few other adventurers in Maris that are currently following through Xanadu quest chain. If you're doing it- I would like to know if you were able to receive the purple Bata de Cola from Tainan map. I have not seen one in-game yet which makes me think it is broken for everybody.

This is the only source of that color Bata de Cola so I was hoping what "KOEI" said was true and I was just unlucky. I can always buy it from someone who did get it later if that is the case. But something would have to be done if everyone gets to be "unlucky" as that would mean you will not be able to find it anywhere else.

without to much knowledge of the Xanadu quest chain, I know CA Gazi has reached Xanadu so I assume it is possible to reach, as for a quest reward with only half a chance of getting, I personally not heard of this before.

Xanadu is accessible.

The question solved itself as I went in Xanadu today for a quest and saw someone wearing that particular Bata de Cola. I was indeed super unlucky to get it on none of my toons.

That is really unfortunate, but I guess I'll be looking for one in company shops..........

Indeed I have noticed that some maps do not drop a 'secondary' item each time. The one map I can think of for sure is the r14 app map from Calicut that drops MTT and a jewelled turban. You can get the MTT every map but the jewelled turban is more like a 80-90% chance. In 17 maps I got 15 turbans. I'm not saying for sure that's what is going on in your case as I haven't messed with that particular map yet. But in my experience in maps vs quests not all maps will drop all items every time and exactly the same even-as some maps change ducat payout each time-whereas quests are a set reward the first time through and you should *always* get all rewards the first time you run it. I would say if you get the chance run through that particular map 10 times and if you get no second item then it's probably bugged-provided your inventory isn't full. Otherwise if it's possible to get the secondary item you should get it at least once in 10 times.
