Christmas Wings Event

50 Seeds of Dream for a random box.
Gift box 1/2/3 or 10 Seeds of Dream.

Need x1 of ea box per upgrade

Okay, not too bad.

Mobs don't drop gift boxes...
Can only get by trading SoD...
Gift boxes are untradeable...

Okay... well at least...

SoD drop rate still near impossible to get...

Well then I guess that's that. Actually had hope for Papaya/Vertigo to actually revive the game, but I guess not. It's sad to see a game that was once so enjoyable turn into something so terrible. I'm very surprised that UbiFun has not fully cut off EU and NA due to their poor business practices. Sure companies are about money before everything else, but when you only cater to the 1% and try to put on a facade of improving the F2P experience that's just incredibly contradicting. 

It doesn't take a genius to make an event that satisfies F2P and P2P players. With the Christmas event in question you could've easily just increased the drop rate of Seeds of Dream to a point where you'd be guaranteed something along the lines of 100 seeds p/hr. Or you could've made a mini-quest where you kill 300 mobs and get 50 seeds that's repeatable. Heck, even a double requirement of a mini-quest plus an instanced dungeon. You kill 300 mobs get 1 ticket and then go kill the boss. The boss drops between 1-3 random gift boxes. Each one of the above methods takes at least 45 minutes to 1 hour to do. Which is relatively short but also limiting seeing as you have to farm x30 of each gift box and the chances of you getting repeat boxes/seeds is also limiting the speed at which you can complete the event. You'd literally have to be insane to attempt to finish the event in a few days time. You'd have to play between 12-16 hours per day to achieve something of that manner. Some people will, but not everyone will. It'll take some people at least the whole duration of the event to complete it with pacing like so.

It's as if the people/person making these events has/have 0 clue how the game works. It's like they just have a set of note cards with item names on them and draw at random and make an event from those results. Wings- Seeds of Dream- 50 items- Obligatory Random Box- OMG I GOT IT GUYS!!!

Anyways that's enough for my rant. The game has become way too dead to play. The GM Shop fiasco didn't bother me, but this did. This was literally the last thing that would have kept me around a bit longer, but it was another failure.

    Maybe their Christmas with our money!
    I spend ~100$ on their parca boxes,and only got feather to 50%

    Can you call this event? I spammed 10 runs of horror HM - nothing, 1hr of running around Python Castle - nothing, is farming seeds even a thing? At least it is great that i don't need those exact stats....

    And speaking about costumes, wings Gismo posted something interesting in 'Suggest' section

    Ok people keep forgeting to mention one thing that Papaya did find out there was a bug related to Christmas event so maybe that has to do something with Bad Santa spawn or npc exchange. That part  Papaya can fix really easy and after next week maint  make small update, where Bad Santa also summon after any regular monster kill.

    Also Papaya has to change those token 1/2/3 exchange to seed of dream. Looks stupid to me if we need all 3 tokens to exchange, just to get 5 seed of dream while 2x token 3 to get 15 seeds. Papaya has to change exchange rates where token 1/2 can be seperatly exchanged to 5 seed of dream or even better toke 1 for 5 seed of dream/ tokem 2 for 10 seed of dream and token 3 for 15.

    On top of that would be nice if there where more  prize options available, like Shiny Rudolf rune 7d/30/90 random box exchange for certain amount of seed of dreams.

    So there is small list i would love to see:
    • Bad Santa spawn after killing regular monsters
    • Seed of dream drop available in Mitera since in that map seed of dreams arent droping
    • TOKEN 1/2/3 exchange option for seed of dream changed, simalar to Arcadia coin rates.
    • Extra prizes, such us Shiny rudolf rune random box 3//7/30/90 for 50 seed of dreams.
    • Cookies and Milk drop from regular monsters

     To make wings 100% some people spent 19k+ seed of dreams so yea with current rate it's nearly impossible to make one. Guildy got his costume by spending 1k seeds and havent even started to upgrade it to premium version.

    Agreed to ShadowAlokenLV, that the requirement of 3 of each token to get 5 seeds is quite steep and it makes any tokens after you get 5 of that group quite useless since you're not gonna be buying any more boxes once you get your Santa costume. I kinda understand the reasoning behind that because Evil Santas spawn in dungeons and can drop tokens but let's be real here unless you do all the available dungeons at least a few times a day, the token count will be negligible and most people won't grind that much.

    This segues to my next point about this event which is that the part of the event is walled off to weaker players again. I understand that you want people to buy those tickets from dshop but please add Evil Santa spawns in at least some more of the lower level dungeons. Not everyone can easily solo horror honeymoon, dragon's nest, fire pot. It is literally Christmas event and we got 2 nice dungeons in one of our snow maps Crespo. Why not add Evil Santa spawns there then?

    And for my last point, I also agree with ShadowAlokenLV that we need more rewards because not everyone wants or needs another pair of costume and wings. And we all know that our events are pretty much farm fests and it is always more "fun" to farm some event items along with seeds rather than the whole event being a seed dump and this event is a double seed dump.

    Not to mention that Python Caste is the only dungeon the christmas event works at. Every other dungeon is bugged AGAIN, just as it was with the halloween event. They can´t even get that right...

    @ShadowAloken fix it next week? but yet the players who spent real money to obtain those drops just got robbed once again by PAPAYA and since this is a fail event WHAT ABOUT EXTENDING IT TIL IT'LL GET FIXED. or even increase the damn drops for III xmas TOKEN and Parca token II...fcking arse really papaya this is your xmas event? SMH

    This papaya is really really bad.

    Spent $60 on random boxes and ended up with a 0% feather as I receive not a Single II parca gift to upgrade. And I had 900 seeds before opening random seed boxes. I would suggest to all players to save your money on this !!

    I did not know that when you bought the 60% wings, you could not upgrade them, now I have all the token, 1 = 24; II = 5 AND III = 28 and I do not get another feather, total this event really stinks I do not think there is any place where they say that you could not level up after having acquired the 60% I want my money back spend more than $ 100 and not even the GM can help you or respond to anything
