bringing back GAMA

It would be nice if GAMA was brought back as a 2nd sever on uwo, their are 2 servers on the japanese uwo, so why not on our uwo (the english one)

Alot of people would like this to happen

    As much as I like the idea that we got our old data back and even if there was... it may be too late to reverse as we progressed pretty much in Maris.

    The main issue would be then how much population we currently have and the most important is that neither of them becomes a ghost server.

    I am afraid it may take very long before this may ever happen, unless we get a serious population booming. But I doubt right now if our data is still here. :(

    First, Maris is hardly big enough to warrant a 2nd server. Creating a 2nd one would divide up the server population, and make the servers feel more depopulated then it already is

    Second, it's very unlikely our old GAMA data still exists. Our old host, OGplanet, was going out of business and were liquidating their assets to squeeze out whatever money they can get out of it. Since Papaya did not want to have GAMA, and they alone have the sole license to host UWO (outside Asia anyway) there's no reason to keep it intact when it's just, in the business sense, a pile of rocks. In fact the hard-drive to host Maris may be the same one that once held GAMA.

    And lastly, as much as I would like to have my old toon and stuff back, bringing back GAMA would ruin any creditably that Papaya has left. Many players have since moved on and re-built a decent amount of what they once had. Imagine if Papaya pulled a bat shit insane stunt like that, that suddenly GAMA was coming back when they already stated on their front page it was gone. Again, it's nice my old toon and stuff are back, but a lot of faith would be lost in Papayas trustworthiness (not that I have a lot to begin with), and a lot of players would be both annoyed and worried that all that grinding they did was for naught, and what crazy stunt they would pull off next. I mean, what if they decide to change their minds?

    In short, there's a 90% chance GAMA isn't coming back. Just live with it and grab a Snickers while your out grinding SB again.
