I was woundering to get the + sus effect from your aides paymaster trait does the  aide need to be your ship capt or do u need to set them to the  production slot in your home.

Trying to get ready to make 100 def boots wile sailing and didnt know how to go about this part with the paymaster from  my aide

    yes to make 100def boots your aide must be with you not in production does not need to be aide capt but with you and yes must be in paymaster to give the +1 bonus to skill.more high your skill is better is it to make those boots.you will need 5 oxford skill that really help all gread sucsess(1 to 4) and the improve gread sucsess that will give you more def point every time you have a gread.A boat with the skill workshop will help too.i think i have tell you evrything on how to make 100def boots for more info just ask

    i think u may missunderstand whati was asking
    less about the +1 to skill and more about the +sucsess rate from one of the aides being on paymaster with 100 in it.

    The only thing i didnt know was if it need to be the ship capt or put in production slot inyour  house or not.

    was just woundering because its my 2nd aide that 91 right now in paymaster  and was not 100% if it would give me the sucsess rate if it was not the ship capt or needed to be set in house.

    But if what u said is true and it dont need to be capt or in house thats good .Just to be on the safe side ill run some test wiht it as capt and not as one when i get its trade lv higher just to be safe.

    btw,aide can't be in your quarters and be paymaster


    i believe aide captain & quarters production  will not effect your great success rate while doing production at sea
