Shipbuilding question

I have heard people talk about ships that can be built in London around r10 or r11 that give just as much exp as sumbuks from cali... may I ask what ship this is that can be built?

    heya mate :-)

    I think you're talking about the Emigrant Barque. It is a unique ship for the British Isles that can be build there and indeed it gives about 20 % more shipbuilding XP than the sambuk does (both same duration and this requires R10 SB) and in fact even slightly better than cutter time-wise. 

    However I see that the build cost is 4.440.000 D each... which comes close to Turkish Galley already. I am not sure how much lose you make per build. This can be costy for those who can't make a lot of cash (yet).

    But yes, if you factor it out... then this is a good method too ^^
